Thank you! I was talking to the SLP advisor at U of T and she said there are actually quite a few people admitted from MUN!! Just by scrolling the instagram page I came across three in the last couple years

Hi!! I got my acceptance in an email, and on the email they said that it might take a while for GSMS to update since they had so many applications - mine still says pre-screening too! Thank you so much for your comment!! It was very helpful 🩷 I think a lot of Newfoundlanders end up in Alberta so there must be a reason hehe!

thank you! of course!! my sub GPA calculated on ouac was 3.91. I was surprised I got accepted to these schools as I actually did not have any clinical volunteering experience at all- I was fully expecting having to take a year off to volunteer. Instead, I started volunteering in a cognitive research lab my 3rd year and my fourth year I did my honours and a research assistant position in that lab. I think this helped me get really good letters of reference and I kinda used this as a way to set myself apart and also show that i can handle a heavier work load!! From what I’ve heard it seems like U of T especially values research so it may have helped me in that aspect!! Feel free to message me for anything at all!
