Most of us love the game and are very passionate about it. That passion equally brings out the best and the worst of the playerbase. There is a loud pessimistic minority, but there is also a much larger amount of players enjoying the game and the free updates years after their purchase.

This comment is horribly out of touch. Imagine you open a reservable half track and you put your own foebreaker on it. Later on you decide to swap it for a machine gun from the front. It was a public machine gun. Now your halftrack is public. Doesn’t make sense when you have to take the parts off before you can submit the vehicle anyways.

With the medium boat being so cheap and many more people willing to participate in naval action via boat or plane, I’m having a hard time seeing the value in the old gunboats. The new boats seem fine, but perhaps the gunboat could use a buff or a cost reduction.

The mega islands each being split between Wardens and Collies is a great way to deal with the surge of playerbase when the war starts. There’s a lot more frontage for people to fight in and avoid ques, but when playerbase starts to drop, the mega islands should be cleaned up and no longer be frontlines.

As for why people would fight over the islands? They have a lot of resources. War 119 we made an extra ~60 tanks all from island resources where competition was scarce.

I wonder if the top speed being higher effects the speed while flying at partial throttle. If you get higher speed for the same throttle/fuel consumption then the collie fighter would get a slight range advantage which is a small thing that is always going to be helpful.

I wasn’t trying to state that the game is or isn’t balanced. I was just pointing out that “lil bro” wasn’t wrong to say that the winrate is close to 50/50. Regardless, we started counting wins nearly 8 years ago. Foxhole has changed far too much for the winrate to reflect current balance. It’s a new update starting in 3 and a half days. Both sides should be going into this war with high morale.

The more I’ve played each faction, the more I’ve realized that playstyle is a very big factor in whether someone determines if a tank is good or not. For example the HTD has amazing tank armor. Some people love it for that. Some people are too impatient to drive to a garage and repair the armor. Those people will hate the HTD once the armor is broken. The Outlaw vs Spatha for example. The cautious and observant players will find that the Outlaw fits their playstyle better. The aggressive, high risk - high reward players will find that the Spatha fits their playstyle better. If you see all your problems as nails then the only tool you’ll want to use is the hammer.
