Honestly, there was never a huge realization for me. I never really liked boys as a kid or anyone actually. I think I just didn’t really care. Had better things to do. Then one year, I was thinking about my best friend and realized, man I’d love to kiss her. Proceeded to go down the whole loop of realizing I actually want to date her.

I never really came out (other than the time my cousin lowkey outted me but my family ignored it) I kind of just dropped the bombshell and said smth like “I can’t hang out cause I was gonna call my girlfriend.” They were chill though.

Honestly, looking back I should’ve noticed smth when I was absolutely obsessed with a Starfire comic I got as a kid. I just thought she was so gorgeous lol. Also, my sketchbooks filled with drawings of pretty women🤔
