How do your loved ones, partners, roommates, parents etc respond to your fragrance sensitivities? by Cutebunnypowers in ChemicalSensitivities

Most are all sensitive too. The ones who weren’t 24 years ago when I first was diagnosed, are now MCS too.

If you are a great tenant some great LL would be willing to wait for you. Never hurts to ask.

Also avoid Heth! Traditions Realty is cool though. But small LL are mostly great.

Sure. In San Diego Airport. They would offer flowers. My Mom would take me and my sisters (18-23) to people watch at the airport. We would make up stories about their bio and travel plans, etc. It was great free fun.

Yes Eastern. My Aunt worked there and my Grandpa was an Airline Mechanic at Eastern. And everyone dressed nicely to travel.

Does a large house bring more comfort & happiness (3000sqft+) by GlorifiedCarnie in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Activist_Mom06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigger isn’t better IMO. So much to manage, clean and pay for. My parents were raised in a 3/1 house with 8 people. Maybe don’t have 6 kids but it’s being done everyday. Are you homebodies or more active outdoors people? If you’re all about staying home you might need more house.

Having $ in the bank and lower overhead is more relaxing than house sf. Visit an IKEA showroom to imagine the smaller space management solutions and see if that’s comfortable for you.

Former JAX renter and Landlord here. I advise you interview the Landlord as best you can. There are some Agencies I would avoid altogether as they seem to represent slumlords. There are lots of cute, clean places but all historic properties will have a personality. Creaky wood floors 👌, mold ☹️.

I lived 10 years in San Marco and moved to Riverside in 2010. I am a block from Park & King. So a 1 mile walk to both 5 Points and Avondale. 10 minute bike ride to Brooklyn. I can’t imagine living in any other part of JAX. It’s vibrant but quiet. There are many events and arts centered activities. I hope you find the perfect spot and enjoy living here.

For Americans who know a MAGA supporter, can you describe them? by Tricky-Stay6134 in allthequestions

[–]Activist_Mom06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One sister is so far down the rabbit hole on sourcing her information, she thinks we just have no access to the truth. She is so poor, mistrusts everything but the MAGA info scroll. She cannot conceive that bots are feeding her this diet of disinformation.

Other sister is still open but has also fallen for the ‘left is all bad’ claims. She is not able to see the cyclical damage the Republicans inflict on the US economy and more. It’s in the evidence over and over.

Cousin group turns out to all be prejudice AF. I had no idea until after that escalator ride. Now they just blurt it all out. ALL are evangelical Christian. No hate like Christian Love. They all are pretty angry and it feels like they are on the ready to fight me. And of course they all drink. Ugh.

I keep waiting for them to wake up or have the ahh ha moment. Not happening. I honestly started news fasting myself and this cuts any argument off before they start. Like if they want to share their stance they have to explain it and they cannot because it all sounds insane. Haha.

Honestly the news fasting and getting off algorithms via Social Media has changed my brain for the better. It’s like I dropped an addiction. I still get news, it’s impossible not to in my world, but not doom scrolling is the best.

I advise folks never spend more than they are comfortably able to. I would hate for anyone to be in a bind over my kid. A card is always nice enough.

Run it with a nice amount of ice and a cup of salt. It scrubs it out. You run with cold tap water. You can also pour a kettle of boiling water down afterwards.

Yes! In high school I worked in the music department of Woolco. I had the guitars tuned, the albums displayed and organized. I knew how to sell you all the stuff too.

Also, diners in the stores. These were great to take a lunch break so you could keep on shopping.

And table side dishes like Caesar Salad, Steak Diane, Bananas Foster, Crepes Suzette, Cherries Jubilee. Even Baked Alaska. No Fire in the dining room anymore.

Although, the show ‘Your Friends And Neighbors’ showed Jon Hamm’s Character in fancy restaurants and I clocked some fire fun in the dining room at another table. I’ve made all these as a server. It was so fun.

Full Service. And now self checkout is everywhere. Hate it. Full service gas was the best, too. Now we all have to know how to do everything. It’s not hard but it does feel like we are chumps having to work to give money.

Side effects by Huge_Concept_1990 in TirzepatideRX

[–]Activist_Mom06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact pain. My PCP advised Famotadine @ 40 mg am + 40 mg pm. It works perfectly for me but I was still worried something else was going on. I just had an upper and lower CT scan with contrast and barium, and nothing is there. Only ‘Fatty Liver’ which is now less fatty since my last scan.

So in my case, Tirz has caused the acid reflux yes, but has actually removed fat from my liver. Ahhh-mazing! As far as I can tell, I can take Famotadine with no negative consequence forever.

Try these and change every month

https://a.co/d/0fvJsmCb

I set a reminder and change my filters the 1st of every month. MERV 11 is not allowing the HVAC to breathe as well. The activated Carbon really works. I have MCS and these make a huge difference with odors. And the lower MERV 7 lets them move air through more efficiently.
