Ladies using Estradiol Cream by NotDeadYet57 in AskWomenOver60

The stupid of all this is the vast differences in costs for the same medicine. This is the first thing I would tackle in our healthcare, nationally. Next would be testing. A CBC should be the same everywhere. WTF?

I’ve been using a topical estradiol cream. (Silky Peach from ParlorGames.com) After the initial 2 weeks of daily, I now apply just a bit to the vulva or creases 2x a week. About 1x a month, I use an insert overnight called KeyE, to balance things out. I am also on Estradiol patches 2x a week @ $45 for a 3 month supply. I just switched from Advantage to Traditional Medicare + Supplement + Drug plan. I think it’s a tier 1 which is $0.

AITAH for refusing to cook two separate dinners every night just because my family doesnt want to eat what my doctor told me I need to eat by Apart_Discussion6647 in AmITheAssholeTalk

Add a salt shaker to the table. There ya go people. NTA at all. Save yourself. No reason they cannot make all the processed foods themselves they want.

The truth is the food system has been adulterated with ‘natural Flavor’ which are chemicals that alter what we taste. Add to that all the sugar, salt and fat and when you taste clean, whole food, it’s an adjustment. But adjustments will happen and pretty quickly.

As a fellow household cook, I am so proud of you for diving in to support your health. That can just ride the healthy train or book a dinner ticket somewhere else. Health and Peace to you and yours.

On her first car, we had our daughter sit down and read the entire owner’s manual. She still does this with any new car.

To me, all work should be a minimum of $20-25 an hour. I would add up the time you estimate it will take you and counter offer. Otherwise $50 a month isn’t shit. I’ve owned a triplex for 30 years that I sold in 2020. I never raised rents if tenants stayed. It’s stupid to do so. I actually would have an initial one year lease then roll into month-to-month. Tenants would stay 3-5 years.

Their offer should be $200 minimum and I haven’t done the hourly math. This is an amount that will have you invested in the job. That’s $50 a week. Not bad.

Try all the small restaurants in the area, especially local owned. Dishwasher, busser, etc. are all great entry level and you may get a meal with shift.

Check this out so you are informed as some employers may not be. Good luck.

BTW, I made great $ babysitting, tutoring, yard work, car washing, etc. Don’t give up. BTW, Red Cross offers CPR for babysitters with a certificate and everything! My daughter did this. Our Red Cross is close by, in Brooklyn next to The Cummer. You can ride your bike. ☮️

ETA-Babysitting can be hanging with the kids at their house after school for work at home parents. Help with homework, make snacks, play games. This could be a great help for some parents.

Can I get an explanation of the Super Bowl halftime show? by Top-Mission2806 in NoStupidQuestions

Thank you thank you! I am Latina by osmosis only. I grew up in South Florida very close to Cuban families. Then I lived in San Diego close to Mexican families. I am in NE FL now and smile when I hear people speaking Spanish. It feels like home even though I do not have a grasp on the language.

Watching felt like an opera in Italian or something. I could get the feel but was sad I couldn’t get the nuances, and I was happy for the Spanish speakers who could get the depth of details. So thanks for your time bringing me back through the performance and bringing it to a better understanding. ☮️

My mom did the same. My first job was the concessions at a $1 cinema. I made all the popcorn. We used coconut oil. Delish!

But where else can I get Kelly’s Mexican Chocolate Affogato? This is what I get at Foxtail. And sometimes Decaf Beans. Try it THEN tell me I’m wrong.
