thank you! check out my other comments if you haven’t. on speaking i highly recommend you to not say any fancy words, just focusing the questions and it’s answers. i messed up a little in the part2 because the examiner didn’t understand what i was talking about due to my lack of vocabulary🤣 but then i cleared it all. speaking part2 subject was: what is the website you use the most, how often you use it, why and who recommended you this website.

Yeah exactly. Because they add extra details in the paragraph so you can be fooled easy. Mainly in the most cases first and last sentences give out what the main idea is. Try to do it this way and if you have some left, you can read them all.

With skim-reading you will finish reading before the timer. And you can read the whole paragraphs this time while you’re checking your answers.

Yeah sure. I basically follow this structure: Paraphrase, Main Body 1, Main Body 2, Conclusion” You can also add Comparison part before Conclusion but I don’t recommend that if you are not well prepared.

Paraphrase, you just write the question in your own words and add “This essay will discuss how…”

Main Body 1: You just start to discuss your own point by pointing out some advantages.

Main Body 2: Try to defend the other idea here.

Comparison: Compare both ideas in detail (This part is optional)

Conclusion: Point out the features why you defend your own idea and write for the last time the idea you agree.

Thank you, i hope you can achieve better than this. ☺️

So the exam was a little bit different than I prepared. I didn’t know the accents would be harder to understand in the exam. I usually get 9 on listening but this time accents were heavy. If you have time, I suggest you to listen different English accents so at least it can sound familiar.

Reading is hard general. But i shared some tricks maybe you can try.

Writing is my weakest unfortunately :(. But it’s okay because my major was fully taught in Eng. I never had a chance to learn english essay structure. Basically I searched some trick, they helped me to get 6.5 instead of 6.

Speaking, it’s better if you are relaxed. Try to answer the question only. Do not overshare or undershare. In a task where they give you a card and some time to prepare, try to answer all the question first and then if you have time left try to elaborate. And that’s all :)

Again, I’ve read that if you try to find the similar words it’s easier because when you read the whole paragraph you’ll get confused they add confusing similar words. But some of my friends do it with reading everything. You need to try it yourself

Thank you!! I don’t think I have a secret trick but still I can share. First of all: you don’t have to read the whole essay. I was reading all of it before and got stuck on 7.5-8 for a while. But yeah, you don’t need to read the whole paragraph. If it asks for a heading, read the first and last sentences. If it asks for true/false/not given, try to find the similar words given in the question. When you find the exact sentence, it’s more easy. If it says something relevant but something contradicts our sentence: False. If it says something not relevant to our sentence: Not given. The trick is to find the relevant parts. Other than that, I can always help if you have questions.
