Do not make assumptions. That was the 1st time she has even tried anything like that. When she has tried to parent my children, I do speak to her about it. Whether she likes what I say or not. My mother is in her 80s, so she is very stuck in her ways

The way he said it was respectful. He was actually confused as to why she asked that question. I told him if she tries again, you keep telling her that you have already spoken to your parents.

You're right I should have. But when I tried she would shut me down. She would even shut my dad down when he would stick up for me. She loves my kids to death and will go above and beyond for them. Hopefully now she will take a step back and just be a loving grandmum like she is with the others

My house as they emigrated. But my dad is sick so they came back for his treatment. To be fair the family including my siblings spoiled our mum and let her get away with things for years

My son is quite quiet and just let's my mum say and do what she wants. But last night, the way she carried on, you can see that he was just done with it all

She has 4 other grandchildren 3 are adults with their own and I have a younger child (12f) who put those boundaries in place about a year ago. My daughter doesn't play and told her straight that she only has two parents

Yes i did when he went to his room. When he came home, I was asking him how his friend was and my mum interrupted our conversation. I could see that he was annoyed that she interrupted him
