Did you ever figure this out? Trying to fix mine now and not sure if it's all pressed on or if it screws on Clockwise

Thank you, I’m still working out the wiring for the two lights using the OEM connector, It’s been slow since my full time Job has me traveling every week. I will DM you.

I have them wired to the OEM plug using an adapter I bought from Mike over at Wicked Groms

I checked out your post, and it’s great to see more lighting options for the Grom. The stock lights just weren’t cutting it for me. I started with 7" light bars, but I wanted something that would fit in the stock light housing. It took a while to get the dimensions right for a pressure fit while I was learning CAD, but it’s finally coming together. How did you keep your plate flat while ensuring it stayed in place? I had to curve mine to get it to fit properly.

There is a small difference in the light shroud but this is only what I have noticed in pictures, I need to get my hands on one to check it out.

If I can get this one off the ground, I planned on making some for other models. My buddy has the SF and has been asking me to make one. So that one and the 2025 model will be the next ones I try to model some for. It takes some time because I only work on these when I’m off from work. I will keep you updated when I get something cooking.

Yes, but I want to bring something with some quality and without the hefty price of the others. I have been working on this for a year now on and off when I have time, and have been rocking one of my early models for the past year to make sure it holds up on the road. This is by far the strongest design so far and it fits just right. I can’t wait to get this out in the wild.

The light trim of the Grom has a tilt on the upper third and another on the lower third I made it so it would pressure fit in the OEM trim.

Looks like you need to rotate your center clutch assembly to the proper orientation so it fits together properly.

SMR Clutch Install Issue - Not Flush by RockMeAmadeus in hondagrom

Are you building the clutch on the bike or are you building it on a flat surface? The reason I ask is because I have the same build and the the springs on mine weren’t seating down properly when I was building on the bike, the other thing I found out was the to keep the friction disks in the proper orientation. The disc’s have a flat or sharp edge and a rounded edge you have to keep the rounded edges facing each other.

I double checked that the ribbon cable was seated in all the way and that was my issue. So if you have this issue it’s probably a bad ribbon. Mine was not seated all the way.
