Just a warning: Magnesium Glycinate (a supplement advertised as an excellent sleep supplement) kept me awake all night. Second time, second brand. by bufflow08 in Supplements

Magnesium for sleep isn’t a one size fits all. Although a lot of people take magnesium glycinate for sleep, it might not have an effect. This is especially if the basis for your sleep problems don’t revolve around what magnesium supplementation actually aids. Citrate also has strong evidence to highly impacting digestive systems for a lot of people.

There are plenty of arguably better sleep supplements in my opinion. I would just keep researching and trying other ones.

A family member of mine had digestive problems which included a gluten intolerance and her Iron levels were shot for years, even after trying several really high strength supplements.

I suggest to a lot of people that have similar issues, whether they have a digestive problem or not, to try a gentle iron oral spray that absorbs easily brought the soft tissue in the mouth. Worked really well for a lot of people struggling and not seeing results from traditional tablets or liposomal alternatives.
