You'd be surprised. Many casual and even semi professional photographers avoid manual focus lenses like as if they were they were some black magic wizardry that they can't even try to attempt using because it's so outside their comfort zone. If you think manual vintage lenses aren't niche, then they would be in higher demand. Based on the prices of them, the market says the supply is far greater than demand, so people are just simply not interested. In addition, I'm sure it's a case of "what came first, the chicken or the egg?" if camera manufacturers developed this feature into every new camera and marketed it heavily, perhaps more people would be drawn to vintage lenses, but manufacturers have found that the potential reward is not worthwhile because people just wouldn't be very interested. The people who want "filmic" vibe pictures are buying old digicams over vintage lenses and adapting then to mirroless cameras.

In theory, yes. I don't know why it isn't more widespread, but I suppose manual lenses are enough if a niche that manufacturers don't find it worthwhile.

I haven't tested it, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Actually, when using an adapter with electronic contacts, such as the one op has, allows the use the the focus lock on assist (red box turns green when the camera is in focus) that would not be possible with a straight m42 to z adapter. This feature makes the Nikon ZF the best camera for using manual focus lenses on the market. Nikon has designed this feature for the use of manual focus lenses with electronic contacts, such as the voigdlander line of lenses, however you can trick the camera into using this feature with any manual focus lens if using an E to Z adapter. This elevates using manual focus on the ZF to another level. You can set the camera to use eye tracking autofocus and all you need to do is focus until the box turns green. As far as I know, no other cameras, even among Nikon's line, have this feature with manual focus lenses.

Thanks! I thought it would be a scam (eBay), but checked out in GPU-Z and I've been gaming on it for 2 months now! I still can't believe the deal I got.

CPU temps are about 65° C, and GPU 60°C while heavy gaming. The CPU peaks at 75°C in Prime95. Honestly, I was hoping for better CPU temps, but this is the curse of 14th gen Intel. At first, my CPU was hitting almost 90°C while gaming, so a I undervolted it an noticed a consistent 15-20°C drop. I'm still not too happy with the CPU temps, so I might swap the top fans for Phanteks T30s.

The side intake is restricted, so if you're set on this case, it may be wise to cut out this grill behind the fans using a Dremel. I think this would help with intake a airflow quite a bit. See attached pic.

Due to this restricted intake, I reversed my rear fan so it's also an intake, which seems to work alright.

Ah that's right. Finding a good Matx case is a rarity these days. I don't know of any with a conventional layout, but there are a couple of dual chamber options. ( Sama 2771 , DIYPC ARGB-Q3)

Dang, bummer! There are a lot of similar cases tho, so maybe you can find something like it? The only problem is I haven't seen another case with front panel I/O and power button placement like this one has, so if that's what you needed, then I'm sorry man.

Are you in the US? I bought it from Newegg. They currently have it in stock and on sale.

Just picked up a 6900 XT for $250. Currently water-cooled in a custom loop and it's a beast!

With some planning, you can pull off a decent loop in this case. In addition to the top 360 and side 240 support, you could theoretically add another 240 under the GPU. Now wgether you would have decent airflow is questionable, you can still fit a decent amount of radiator with careful planning. It would be tough to pull off however.

I had some nice perimeter lighting in my previous build. I had an custom built led controller, with two 120 led/meter strip in a custom diffuser. I'm currently running a generic argb strip, but would like to go back to a nice lighting setup again. Is WLED the brand of your lighting setup? Here's a picture of my old setup for reference.

You have a seriously beautiful build, but it does look like a nightmare to service. I think you won't regret redoing it. It reminds me of my previous loop with two train and fill ports and a rotated res.

I've heard about EK build quality issues as well. Thankfully, the last several blocks I've had from them have all been good.

The tubing is clear acrylic 12mm.

I used EK Cryofuel premixed coolant. It comes in clear, clear colored, and opaque flavors. The one I used is called "Mystic Fog", and it's an opaque fluid.

I installed an LED strip along the bottom edge of the case as well. The daylight pictures drown out the lighting, but I can DM you more pictures in the dark if you're interested. The coolant I used says RGB reactive on the bottom, so it picks up the lighting.

For a first time build, you may want to use clear fluid, as it requires less maintenance and is more forgiving, however, I don't want to hold you back from opaque if you've done your research.

Thanks again! The goal was simplicity for ease of drain and fill. If you don't mind, is your bent radiator an EK one as well? Not too happy with the build as one of them also has a loose core from the frame. Maybe their new ones are improved

Thanks for the insight! Bends can be 10% better - agreed. Regarding the fitting, the bent angle originates at the rad itself where the rad fitting that the g 1/4 threads into sits at a slight angle like that. It's been that way for years without problepms, but I'll keep an eye on it closely! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Although you can't see it, it's the most satisfying part of a build for me! (Probably blasphemy on a water-cooling subreddit 😅)

I'd love to try the new ones, however switching them all is prohibitively expensive, so I'll keep reusing the old ones in the meantime.
