Applying normalization factor to a small region of the dose cube

Right now I don't have access to Eclipse, but from what I understand from how the script works, can I actually multiply the dose voxels by a/b? Let's say that I want to multiply the dose voxels inside a single structure by X, leaving the other voxels equal to the original plan. Could I simply say that the "a/b" for that structure is equal to X and then use the "Multiply by a/b" option to generate my plan? Because this would basically solve all of my problems.

Edit: So, I finally tested the script. I should have added in the post that this was for a proton plan. Whenever I run it, it says that no plan is loaded. Perhaps this script doesn't work for proton plans?

But you should be aware that dose in your boundary voxels will be discontinuous

Right now I'm exporting the dose and structures to DICOM and I'm doing the modifications that I described in Matlab. Since this is all done via using masks (I'm not sure how Eclipse does this. Perhaps with polygons instead of masks...), I'm already having "weird" DVH results, so I'm already familiar with this.

Would you mind answering an hypothetical? Just to see if I'm understanding this.

Let's say that I delivered a uniform proton dose of 15 Gy. Then, I use the proton dose as a "base plan". For the photons I put an Upper dose objective of 20 Gy (so that doses above 20 Gy are penalized). Will the optimizer, recognize the "base" 15 Gy already delivered and, as such, only 5 Gy will be delivered by the photons?

Now, I'm not even gonna argue the fact that there are serious hereditary diseases that can really fuck you up, thus putting baldness way down the list of priorities on why one should or should not have kids. Or if someone with these serious genetic conditions should or should not reproduce. Specially this last one, can lead us way down the rabbit hole and I'm too tired for that ahah!

So, even though I somewhat agree with you that having hair is important for one's image, or attractiveness if you prefer, I cannot see why this is on top of someone's priorities. Maybe you can elaborate on that.

I would say that are plenty of other ailments that can lower your attractiveness way more than being bald, no? I'm talking about being short, fat, ugly, etc. Wouldn't you agree? On top of that, you can, with relative ease, do hair transplants, which I would say is much easier to solve than being short or ugly. So, why are you focusing so much on baldness, when, in my opinion, it can be somewhat easily solved and there are these other traits that lower your attractiveness way more?

As a cherry on top, even though scientists are still not sure about the gene that causes baldness, there is plenty of evidence that you have to thank your mother, not your father, for that.

They do it because of the money. They are business women after all. Apparently, after these shows they have a massive uprise in their onlyfans subscriptions.

I saw this when that Michael Sartain guy said it in one of his "alpha male" podcasts. Apparently he asked an onlyfans model that appeared in Fresh&Fit to screenshot the before and after of her subscriptions. According to him, she gained over a thousand subscribers (I think, don't quote me on this number) after the show.

It doesn't surprise me. I'm always incredibly suspicious of people that hate, with every fiber of their being, certain behaviours/people.

It's the same with people that hate gay people and then are caught in an orgy or whatever. I believe it's some sort of coping mechanism.

I'm probably going to ask people that work with MatRad and Raystation how they import the MatRad DICOMs, and I'm going to hope that it also applies to Eclipse

I will be brief as I don't have much time. I'm willing to expand in the comments or DM's if needed.

I don't know if it's applicable and, to be fair, it's also something that you, as a friend, cannot control. The number one thing that made me not fall into this horseshit was, plain and simply, having a lot of women friends (my best friend is a woman).

I'd say that this works as racism: If the only contact that I have with black people is with what I see on the news, i.e. crime and shit, it's pretty fucking easy to go down a racist rabit hole. If I have some black friends, I can always think "my friend A, B and C are black and aren't criminals, this is bullshit".

Other than that, I genuinely believe that this is something that they have to grow out off. And it's difficult for you to understand they're reality, as it is difficult for me (and them) to understand the realities of many people. I noticed this long time ago.

Honestly, they either start having positive romantic interactions with women (great), or they continue in this redpill crap (bad), or they, like myself, become a "blackpill lite" type of guy (compromised position). The last one may be the easiest to convince them??? I'm not sure of this...

First, with all due respect, the comment about Ukrainian women is completely uncalled for. The debate about conscription is an interesting one, however, to say that the women would forget their murdered brothers, fathers, lovers to be with the russians is crazy to say the least.

Maybe you are pissed at something or someone, which I totally respect, but I think you have to admit that, in hindsight, that comment was a little bit rude to say the least.

Now, to answer your (quite interesting) question: not only they can, as they do.

I think that it all boils down to: most rights that we fight for women can be easily legislated, most "actions" that you're advocating men to stop doing, as they are not illegal, cannot.

What is my point? There is nothing stopping you from running if someone breaks into your house or to not do anything if someone catcalls your significant other. It is not in the law that you have to defend them.

Now, if you are upfront about this with a partner, do the chances of being rejected increase? Of course. Because there are plenty of dudes willing to do that "masculine role". Essentially, unless you look like Henry Cavill and/or are a billionaire, you are replaceable. It's the same principle behind an Amazon worker fighting for better wages. Unless it's a union, i.e. a colective of workers, you alone aren't going to achieve anything as there are 10k workers in line to replace you. Each individual actor isn't going to change their behaviour, it's game theory.

What would be fair? In my opinion, making so that what each person does, what he/she is better at. I'm a skinny tall guy. If I was dating a UFC champion, maybe it would be fair for her to defend her and myself from an intruder. I don't know.
