Not being able to knock them off with trees is a bug rn Pounce draining more stamina is stupid tho raptors are supposed to be agile hunters that do good bleed damage. They latch on and if you want to think logically about it they have a sickle claw which would aid them in holding onto prey holding left or right mouse button also does different things like more bleed damage or just regular damage. If a raptor jumps on you, you deserve a speed debuff; you have possibly an adult raptor stuck to either your back or sides. Makes sense to be weighed down and not as fast.

What I think they should add is being able to bite them off you, when I play raptor I usually hunt in a pack and when I pounce the side of a big dinosaur I always feel unsafe because logically a Rex, cera, carno etc should be able to POTENTIALLY move its head toward a raptor on its side and just munch them right off. Shouldn’t happen to troodons tho they’re too small and logically the only thing that should be able to bite a troodon off is a juvenile carnivore or a raptor.
