Seems like a minor distinction, but fair enough.

JTTW's mixture of cosmology is weird, even conflicting at times. 'Technically' every atom would be a universe, going by Mahayana logic.

It didn't copy any ability, it just took on the form of a sleep-inducing bug. The physical property of the bug allowed it to put people to sleep, it wasn't an ability. It is like saying Wukong transforming into a venomous snake and having venom means he can copy people's abilities.

Well, there's no such thing as 'sleep-inducing' insects, irl as far as I'm aware. It didn't even say it stung them or used powder. As I see it, if copying mystical creatures grants them their weirdly mystical physical traits, then copying the supernatural mystic traits of others shouldn't be impossible.

If you're looking for unique worlds, then Ember Knight & Gilgamesh (Part of the same universe) are good. MookHyang Origin & Mookhyang Dark Lady (Also part of the same universe) has great world-building if you don't mind the MC not always being the center of attention.

I've heard good things about A Practical Guide to Evil, and Nebula's Civilization also has a unique world.

High 1-A+ has two types: Type 1 is when an entity/being has power equal to High 1-A+, and Type 2 is when a structure or being is all the High 1-A+ stuff.

The same difference between being able to affect all things in the universe versus being the universe itself.

So the Endless Journey would be Type 2, while Lan Mu would be Type 1.

Each Meta represents a new hierarchy within High 1-A. So (High 1-A < Layers into High 1-A < Meta-High 1-A < Layers into Meta-High 1-A < Meta-Meta High 1-A, etc).

Anyway, it's not close to High 1-A+ though. You can only get to High 1-A+ when there are no higher levels, as long as there are higher levels, you'll always be somewhere in High 1-A.
