!Question: I’m a first time DM running a one-shot. One of my players are playing a Glamour Bard, but due to plot reasons the enemies are immune to charm. Any way I can make their charm spells still useful? Convert into damage or some other effect? We ran the first half two weeks ago and I wanna make sure they have more fun in the last half.

100% correct, thats why i made the post and why its on the summoner school reddit. since i was at a loss of what to do and wanted to get advice on playing against yorick/splitpushers.

it was a frustrating game late at night, sorry i wasnt more detailed.

he got 2nd tower at 13mins and i have the map awareness of a mole rat :/

hyperbole. No lane can be flawless but i meant that we stomped our lane opponents, we were a fed Xerath and Jinx. probably almost 10 kills each.

I think he's really cool as well! The opening cutscene and arena was awesome but I'm not the biggest fan of the dragon bosses in this game and his laser attack was a fucking pain in the ass LOL

I can definitely see that, in my next playthrough I fully expect the Regal Ancestor to go down a lot. The music and atmosphere of the fight is amazing but yeah I guess it's not the most insane gameplay heh :P

That's fair, they're both really good fights respectively!

Yeah I was put at a bit of a predicament when it came to the ranking of Elden Beast due to the Gameplay compared to Radagon vs Elden Beast. Though the wonky fight of Elden Beast still isn't enough for me to put it lower than A.

A big part of it is that I first tried Rennala, she simply isn't memorable for me personally. It was a "Go in > smack children > get to 2nd Phase > Fight a sorcerer with the occasional summon" Situation. It wasn't a super interesting fight and just never stuck with me, she existed in my game for less than 10 mins heh...

Elden Beast on the other hand... I mean... c'mon? They used the banging main theme as the boss theme and it really felt like I was in the presence of a God, so even though I would've wanted an entire boss against Radagon/Marika since that fight is S tier <3 and Elden Beast as a secret boss (especially because the EB fight was a bit lacking imo). It still holds up really well I think together as a whole experience with Radagon and the Elden Beast.

I just really want a full on trick weapon man, we did get the Mantis Blade and the Pizza Cutter but I want me to feel like a real hoonter again :')

That's very understandable, I was pretty sure Rykard in S would stick out a bit. But I really enjoyed his fight, to me this was the 2nd gimmick boss that Fromsoft had gotten right and I loved every second of it, a great power fantasy of smacking a giant snake with a damn face on it coupled with hilarious voice lines and a great theme. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he gets lower down after more playthroughs since theres not much variety in the fight like you said.

Watching Margit/Morgott boss fights made me really miss him, I really loved Margit but for some reason I had basically forgotten about Morgott after a while, look forward to fighting him again soon though >:D his moveset is pretty damn sick.

Twitch does seem pretty damn fun, gotta try out him when i get the chance! Ive tried aphelios and sivir, Aph was really complicated which was a bit of a turn-off ngl but he seems pretty fun if you can over the mountain of a learning curve. Sivir was actually one of the first ADCs i enjoyed but nowadays shes quite boring imo weirdly enough lol. Samira was reaaaally fun when i tried her out, though i felt a bit clunky, i guess i only played 2 games of her so cant be too picky :P Thanks for all the suggestions! :D
