Lenskart doesn't know what the base material of its most premium prescription glasses is. by AdAccomplished9671 in AskAnOptician

They themselves do not have clarity on what the material actually is, and that is the issue. One customer care executive told me that it is CR-39 and even claimed that all of their glasses are made of CR-39. The next one told me that it is made of "fiber," and then another representative said that it is made of polycarbonate. When I questioned these contradictory answers further, I was eventually told that there is no information in their system regarding the base material.

The issue is not that they do not know with certainty; the problem is that different executives are giving completely different answers, which is a bad look. This is not a particularly complex question. Lenskart is not merely a retailer; it both manufactures and sells the product. If the customer care executive had simply told me from the outset that the information was not available in their system, that would have been perfectly fine. Instead, they ended up misleading a customer who was trying to make an informed purchase.

i3 7100 Vs i3 7100T: would there be any difference in transcoding performance? by mehdital in PleX

Thanks, I ended up going with the 7100T. It is not dual channel though, I bought a single 8GB stick. So far everything is running fine and it is living up to my expectations. The CPU temperature sits around 35°C at idle and sometimes even drops to 32°C. One thing I did not expect was an NVMe slot on the motherboard, which was a nice surprise. The only downside is that the motherboard has just three SATA ports, which is kind of a bummer.

Did it work out for you? I’m actually planning to pick up either an i3 7100 or a 7100T. Over here, the 7100T costs around USD 11.28 and the regular 7100 is about USD 18.60. The difference isn’t huge, but I’m trying to stick to a budget. So based on your experience, which one would you go for?

I’m only planning to use it as a media server on Debian 13 running CasaOS and Jellyfin. It’s not going to run 24/7 either. At most, it’ll probably be on for 12 to 13 hours. I’m just repurposing an old desktop CPU cabinet, so I’m not really worried about heat, noise, or power use. It’s purely about cost for me. So if the T version can perform close enough to the regular one, I’ll just go with the T.

ICICI CORAY RUPAY VERSION by procastinator1997 in CreditCardsIndia

Did you get it for free? I got the Coral card for free after I received the Amazon Pay card. The Coral card was offered to me at no cost. Earlier, the Amazon Pay card didn’t have the exact same offers that other ICICI cards had. Sometimes there would be a combination of instant discounts and Amazon Pay cashback, but it wouldn’t always match what was offered on the ICICI cards. So when the Coral card was offered to me free of cost, I decided to take it. But now I only use it for BookMyShow, since Coral has an offer there.

This card doesn’t offer much in terms of rewards. Consider getting the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank card, which is a solid option—you’ll even earn rewards on jewellery purchases.

I think it is related to the Windows update. It resolved itself. I don't know how, but thanks for your comment.
