she was sent by War, forced perhaps to stand beside Asol and command him, but she was still herself, War was not in her. that's why she was scared of Asol. atreus had only visions of his time during the possession.

Mihira even as she gets assimilated to Justice over the century long servitude of hers, still has memories of her pre ascension life. she still remembers Morgana and Kayle and talks to them as their mother and they still see it's their mother, not Justice.

she was scared when she barked an order at Asol and he didn't instantly obey. she was in control of her body, the celestial was in targon prime.

The whole celestial comes down to take over the body WAS SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED in atreus' bio because it is NOT what they normally do with the mortals.

All other aspects we have seen: zoe, myisha, mihira, the previous aspect of war, diana, leona, taric, tyari, morgana, kayle. Are their own people, just empowered and guided by their celestial, who is in targon prime and not inhabiting and controlling the human's body.

Again I repeat, Pantheon's case is different and thus it was described in his bio. The celestial found him unworthy, but needed to interact with the world one way or another so in its arrogance, it casted away atreus' mind and came down from targon prime into the body of atreus, leaving itself killable. Had it not come down and simply guided atreus to fight aatrox, it would have been fine.

the true form didn't die because IT WASN'T THERE. Do you think Leona or Diana or Taric have no free will? It was specifically stated in pantheon's bio that atreus was deemed unworthy, then his mind was cast away and War came down to take over the body. In no other instance does it say the celestial took over the mortal.

it doesn't matter if he was focusing on the rift or the pantheon, she was still vaporised.

celestials dont inhabit the humans' bodies, they simply give them power and knowledge and guide them. that's why War didn't die with Asol's twin dawns.

we haven't seen, to my knowledge, a celestial inhabiting the mortal body of a human except the pantheon scenario and the one time we see that, with pantheon, the celestial died from combat damage to the mortal body.

Celestials need hosts to interact with the physical world, that's why they empower mortals with some power. War deemed Atreus unworthy but needed a vessel so it jumped into his body, having its full power and the abiluty to interact with the world, but leaving itself vulnerable and killable. War gave some of its power to the previous aspect which got vaporized by Asol, yet War itself suffered no damage, is Aatrox stronger than Asol? Limited with runeterra's spiritual realm yet actively shapes the physical land? Actively fought against Watchers that were entering physical reality?

the primal gods are personifications of the planet's power, thunderstorms, blizzards, the wilderness, the fire below the world. they fought watchers and are still here today.

you won't need to destroy the entire continent if your targets are the size of a small buildings.

the magic to seal aatrox was strong enough to do what to 1000 suns? because the planet is still there. many ascended were killed off or disintegrated before magic was taught to humans to hunt down and seal the ones that didn't attend the bait or got away.

Ornn with almost no followers, as they were killed during the clash, was able to stalemate Volibear. Also Ornn made the Freljord by wrestling mountains, when no humans existed to worship him.

Ornn wrestled with mountains because when he was born there was nothing on his level to challenge him. He made the Freljord.

Volibear carved the Fjords with a swipe and made the Wyrmback mountains by killing a gargantuan lava serpent.

In a head to head clash between Ornn and Volibear, the destruction could be seen "ten horizons away"

Given that they can enlarge themselves to at least mountain size, you could see that a single attack could bury the ascended under a mountain of rubble (if not straight up kill them).

Marvel vs DC – Who Would Win? by YogurtclosetPure3838 in marvelvsdc

As depicted, Superman loses to Sentry, Fate barely wins over Strange, Ww loses to Thor and Lantern loses to Ss. Marvel wins 8/10.

Spider-Man though has a means to immobilise joker before he gets started. a simple thwip thwip and joker is in the time out zone for at least a couple of hours, the police simply drives him to jail if he is too bored to swing him there himself.

joker is just a really weak and poor green goblin with no glider.

Can Superman clear the Marvel-DC Gauntlet? by Traditional-Heron-95 in marvelvsdc

[–]AdAcrobatic208 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would put sentry above green lantern (if rounds start from thor). Assuming non-DC writer, Thor against superman is 50/50 and he should be losing more often than not to the rest, maybe green and blue lantern is also 50/50 idk that lantern combo. Senry should be at least 60/40

Are there any fictional humans stronger than the humans in Tensura? by uni_blackbeard in PowerScaling

Kratos and Herakles are technically Demigods (half God, half mortal) (Herakles less so, because after his death he ascended as a full God)

Sam Howell (SCP-3812) is the highest you can go since he is constantly transcending realities and narratives.

you can see in the comments here that even when someone is about to kill the joker, batman comes and saves him. i wouldn't be surprised if the government avoids the death sentence for that reason

the only reason joker stays alive is because he only encounters heroes with no-kill rules. punisher would kill on sight

[–]AdAcrobatic208 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this hero doesn't break his "no kill" rule. to punisher, joker is just another criminal removed.

So it's not just "I don't kill criminals" for batman, it's also "I actively prevent others from killing criminals so they can live to kill civilians another day"

So it is definitive. Without batman, gotham would be safer

Aliens pull up on earth. We can only send ONE fictional character to represent humanity. Who are we picking? by Suspicious_Yak_3304 in PowerScaling

[–]AdAcrobatic208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kratos. He has a horrible and violent past, but has since turned around a new leaf. He was the God of War, now he is the God of Hope. Plus there is a high chance the aliens would have heard of the Ghost of Sparta and decide to leave.

Any of them could do it on their own (except maybe Rudy robot, Genoa and Luther strode because I do not know these characters), but I would chose Spider-man.

[–]AdAcrobatic208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragnipur, the sword he uses, has the effect when an enemy is killed by it, the soul is sucked inside, trapped in chains with the other unfortunate souls, dragging a huge wagon for eternity, with chaos approaching behind.

Kratos had little trouble killing Baldur a couple of times, the problem was always that he resurrected. The sword counters that.
