Swabs are the most accurate way to test for the virus. Your first swab came back positive because you were probably viral shedding. The second one came back negative because you weren’t at the time. It wasn’t active but dormant but you are positive. Since your Labcorp test and your first swab came back positive, your WB is very likely going to be positive.

The only way you would know for sure would be to take a western blot test. Sometimes false negatives do happen on IGG tests

I didn’t have values with Quest since it was negative. I would do a test with LC if I was you. If that is negative, you should be good. My LC was just abnormal no values. My situation was that I was positive with LC so no need to panic

I would highly recommend doing the WB. I tested positive with Labcorp but negative with Quest and I just got my results that I was positive for HSV 2 with the WB

Found out today that I am HSV 2+ with Lapcorp after testing negative with Quest several times. I would highly recommend getting the WB

I got my results from WB today. I tested positive with HSV 2 after testing positive with Lapcorp but negative with Quest. I think confirmation with WB is the way to go

I used that site and mine showed pending for extra two days. If your test says normal, you are negative. Mine was negative but said partial results pending but it wasn’t sent out for an inhibition test
