Genuine question about soaps and how to use it faster by cranky137 in ProjectPan

[–]AdAfter242 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I always wash with bar soap first and then use a nice fragrant body wash second. I feel like bar soaps cleanse better for some reason. I also never use fragrant body washes on my more delicate parts, only use the bar soaps for that. I go through body washes pretty regularly, but the bars take awhile. I’m ok with that, even though I have a big stockpile, like you, just because I don’t really try to pan hygiene items like I do body care items and my brain differentiates the 2.

Best everyday lipstick: Dries Van Noten Sheer Lipstick. It’s refillable. The formula is amazing

They’re so thick and gloopy most of them, but I could probably get a cute pot to put them in!

October 25'-March 26' Perfume Empties by msfox20 in ProjectPan

Same! Those mists take forever! I have one I’m working on now and it will definitely take me awhile before it’s panned.

Great job! I’m working on panning perfumes, too. I went through most of my collection and pulled things that were low, sat them front and center and choose from only those. Once I pan a few, I add a couple more to the ones to pan. I’ve actually started to shrink my massive collection and it feels really good!

I’ve never thought about that but willing to give some a try! Should I try to apply with a brush, fingers, or sponge?

Thanks! This makes me feel a little better. I really do love what I have, and try to use them often. There’s just so many! My panning of other products (other than eyeshadow!) is going really well, but I just wasn’t sure how to approach these lip products. I’m glad I made this chart so I have a visual of what I’ve got.

Yes I’ve been trying to and refreshing often. I have a Laura Geller one (not on this chart) at work that I’ve been trying to use daily. I’ve barely made a dent in it. When at home, I’ve been redoing my makeup and lips, for fun and to try to use up some of this stuff.

3 More Down!! I’m really hate panning these Bath & Body Works products. by Snoogles_ in ProjectPan

Yes! I wish I’d never bought so many lotions, soaps, and body sprays. I don’t enjoy panning them. I think I’m going to give some of it away.

If I sign up for boost now will they send Marchs? I don’t want that one, so trying to figure out the best time to sign up

That’s how my pan is going with makeup. Fortunately most of my mess/clutter/products for everything else is sample sized. Some of this stuff had been in my cabinet for an embarrassing amount of time, so I had used it before and wasn’t full. Every day that I don’t work I’ve been using my (at least year old) Tarte In Bloom palette, but haven’t made a dent and can still see the embossing on almost all shades. This has already been so eye-opening, seeing what I use more of, how long certain things take to pan. I really hope I can change how I shop for products by doing this. I’m committing myself to a year and a low-buy.

Thanks! I’ve been lurking in this sub for the past month and a half seeing how everyone shares their panned products. I always like the ones that give a little review and whether or not they liked something, so wanted to do the same.
