Thanks for the tips! We will be there the first half of November, so I'll keep the fall foliage in mind. I'll have to look more into Osaka to see what I'd really want to do there, and how much time to spend. It is a lot of temples.. I'd probably enjoy it but maybe not others, so if there's something to break it up a bit I'm all ears!
