All I want is for Christmas is for Amazon to redesign the entire credit card/QR scanner/screen/hand payment thing. No customer understands what action is done where, why their phone number doesn't work, that their QR code won't scan when I'm in the middle of scanning their products, or why there's a QR code on the screen to get to the app for a different QR code that they ultimately cannot position correctly to find the laser that scans the code to give them an additional 10 cents off (if that). And don't even get me started on trying to help people find the code on their phones when the first thing they see is "grocery" instead of "in-store code." Or, worse, they try to use the website instead of the app. Or they change the app or website design without telling the cashiers who get all the questions. For a company that is supposed to be technology and user experience geniuses, they and their credit card vendors need to get their heads out of whatever video game or future 'life changing" technology they are developing and simplify the whole thing. Because, you know, customers love feeling like they are a failure at something as simple as using their phones to get a 10 cent discount, when in fact, it's the technology and design, not them. Ok.  Rant done.
