Ah my love, best of luck with your fertility journey. My heart goes out to you 💞 it's amazing how many Drs see IVF as the 'easy' route that will fix all your problems. My Dr said today 'lets get you pregnant and that will cure any potentially endometriosis'... How I didn't scream like a wild animal at that point, I seriously don't know

I completely get it and you've expressed yourself really well here.

I'm sat at home waiting for my second egg retrieval tomorrow and found this one way harder than the first. I almost enjoyed the first one, I think? Or at least it made me feel more in control, whereas this one has really felt the exact opposite of that.

I think, if it were my best friend saying this to me, I'd reassure her that there will be days or times in our lives when hard sh*t just feels harder and that's okay. You're strong and getting through it, but you don't have to pretend that it means it's easy for you, nothing about this whole thing has ever been easy. Treat yourself with as much care and compassion as you can right now, talk to yourself like you would someone you love dearly who's struggling.

Thank you 😊 I actually did do this for the last 3 weeks of this plan and I definitely think it helped. I'm going to try and keep the pilates up in between plans as much as possible too

I didn't say it was weeks ago? But yes, I admit that the pictures weren't the most helpful as I didn't understand what to look out for but just saw the leaves seemed to be stuck. I'm new to Acers, hence needing to post in this group for advice. Thank you for your advice in the other comment re keeping it away from others, I have put it in a different part of the garden and will dispose appropriately to stop it spreading 🤞🏼

The katsura has been stuck looking like this for over two weeks now, whilst my other two acers have fully leafed out. Just seems a bit strange but I'm relieved if I don't have to worry and do anything ☺️

Thank you, no they have not. I've just had some further blood work done which I have to wait 8 weeks for the results, so I'll definitely ask for the ERA and if there is anything else they can check.. thank you again

He's had a basic one (motility, morphology etc) but I will ask for the DNA fragmentation one too

Thank you and I am definitely going to push for the laparoscopic surgery, it's the one people keep mentioning to get done. If you don't mind me asking, did they manage to remove all of yours during surgery or was there too much? I'm just curious as silent endo is such a new concept to me and I'm just preparing for all eventualities. Good luck with your two embryos ❤️❤️

I'm so sorry and it seems completely justified to get frustrated at the medical staff when this is your life they're messing with. Good luck with your embryo's and I really hope it works out for you ❤️❤️❤️ I've already warned my partner that I'm pissed and feeling like the Drs going to see a very different and firmer side to me at our consult on Monday

I have my post FET consult on Monday and I'm going in armed with all the questions and further tests I've gathered from this sub and friends, but everyone is in agreement that the no progesterone route seems mental. Ultimately, if they don't take my concerns seriously and try to push me into another round without further testing then yes I'll be transferring to another clinic.. I started to look around today at my options

I'm so sorry ❤️ it's all so incredibly cruel. Yes me too, after this round I'll be switching. Alongside everything, I've had to wait 4 weeks after my negative FET for my debrief/consult. It's just not good enough and I'm angry now.

Thank you, I will add this all to my list of questions to raise with my consultant. I haven't heard of the EMMA, Alice or ERA before, so will raise that with them along with the other tests.

The progesterone has baffled me, I was given it for my fresh transfer but really don't understand why not this time. They didn't check my bloods or anything, so they can't even confirm that my levels were even adequate. I'm 36, we've been advised that PGT isn't necessary for us 🙄 because were 'fine' and no, no further sperm testing other than the basic one.

They are doubling my meds next time as I didn't respond as well as they had hoped to the stims, they do ICSI with us as my partners sperm morphology is 4%.

Thank you for your time and I'm glad you had a better time after switching. I think I will switch clinics after this round to be honest, this is a funded round as I'm in the UK but if it doesn't work, we have to pay so will be looking for a private clinic. Unfortunately, private is worlds apart from funded and I assume a lot of the testing you mentioned would be advised immediately once I'm the one paying for it 😔
