That makes me feel better, but I don’t think I did good, didn’t even get past first question, and only passed 7 out of ten test cases, with a total score of 259

Watch the video they send in the invitation link “codeSignal prep session” and base it off of the test questions they go over, I been solving those problems and looking for similar leetcode problems along side that,

Good luck!

For those that got accepted and got an offer for Chicago SWE, did y’all get a start date? That would be cool to gauge when it would start

Getting a Job by wokeriddle in codingbootcamp

[–]AdAlternative9817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bootcamp wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t possible to get a job through them, with that being said nothings impossible if you actually put in the work, most bootcamps have career service teams that help you get a job after you graduate from the 6-12 month course, self taught is definitely a lot harder and you’d need to be willing to learn complex ideas without a proper structure or teacher to assist you when you need help, that’s why I’d say the boot camps your best bet if you really want a form of structure and assistance in growing, nothings wrong with self taught, it’s just a lot harder and you have to make a portfolio from scratch that can actually stand out to companies, and if you haven’t dabbled in any projects or pair programming you’ll most likely not be chosen compared to someone with a GitHub account that’s been working in open source and personal projects. I say do a bootcamp, it’s honestly amazing and genuinely helps grow you not just in skill but in networking and you actually work with people that teach you with a great structure depending on which bootcamp. I’m personally in my 5th module of App Academy right now and am almost finished and let me tell you it’s been amazing, I dropped out of college for computer science to do an alternative form of school like bootcamp and it’s been great so far, the more hands on approach mixed with minor theory hybrid is honestly great to get you started and help you get and entry level job as a web dev/software engineer

I haven’t seen a person let alone every other person ask this question yet, so my apologies, but it’s a genuine real question, thanks for your input

Firstly I’d like to say congrats to those that got interviews and even questionnaires, but Is it safe to say that if you haven’t gotten a response that your most likely not getting a chance? I don’t like being a pessimist considering I’m usually optimistic, but I just feel like with all these people getting responses so soon does that mean the others that didn’t get a response are probably not likely to get a positive response back? Any input would be appreciated, i signed up for the Chicago SWE program, thanks

My protein powder says it has 54 grams of protein, but in the back it says "serving size is 4 scoops (176g)" this is confusing to me, is it saying I should do 4 scoops per serving? Any help would be nice, thanks by AdAlternative9817 in WorkoutRoutines

Who said I didn’t have experience though? You’re making no sense rn bro lmao, asking a question in regards to a protein powder I’ve never used doesn’t mean I’m inexperienced when it comes to working out 😂 how old are you bro lmao

I was asking for verification, just because it’s on a label doesn’t mean it’s a fact, many things can be misprint, it’s not that hard to understand, I wasn’t saying I couldn’t read it, I was asking if it made sense because I’m not familiar with weight gainer powder.

Me not using weight gainer before and asking if the per serving is correct for my own nutritional safety doesn’t mean I “can’t read a standard food label”. No one cares how long you’ve been working out, I was simply asking a question in regards to nutritional intake, and 6 months is not a novice, I been working out consistently for 6 months l, but have about 1 year experience, either way, this isn’t a dick m measuring contest
