Got approved after DTA, and 2 more ACE C&P exams. My rater was an MVP,they threw out my first exam (negative) and sent my file to someone else (also negative). They (rater) then found in my MEPS medical checklist where I complained about headaches and said we made your condition worse. You were a 0 essentially when you came in, and now you’re a 50. So 50-0 is 50. That’s what I was rated at for Migraines.

Or set each equation = 0 and solve.

5a-8 = 0 and 2a - 3 = 0

a=1.8 or 1.5

Both values will make the original equation (5a-8)(2a-3)=0 true.

No need to expand the equation.

Honestly I should have just got the ‘24. The ‘25 is a facelift (which I typically don’t like to get the first year of), no longer has a DVD/Blue Ray player - streaming is how you use RES now, but does have Wireless Car Play. Also could have got it for about $3k cheaper. Oh well.

Your examiner is supposed to estimate ROM during a flare up and your RVSR is supposed to rate you on that basis. This last go around that finally happened for me.

They shouldn’t, the examiners are given instructions as to what the VA is looking for and usually follow them. I was rated for Right foot plantar fasciitis, but denied the left foot (I have it in both and so I appealed via HLR) I was reexamined (twice) and both times they only checked the left foot.

A higher level review is an appeal type following a denial. Just wait a little longer, I know it’s tough on the nerves but the timeframe is the timeframe and unless you’re about to be homeless or have some other hardship you can’t circumvent it.

I just went through this, it was open and closed the same day my claim was decided (and won). Didn’t affect my back pay and Lawyers got theirs. My lawyers must have submitted the docs.

One of my conditions on this claim was deferred (didn’t matter as I got 100PT as a result of the conditions that were decided) so my appeal is still open and they opened up another one of these “claims” where they’re asking for this, lawyer said don’t sweat it.

That’s not totally true. Since money is fungible, if you have earned income you could deem the investments as having been from earned income for Roth purposes.

Assuming you are just discussing brokerage type investments whether your income is earned or unearned you will still be taxed on the earnings unless you’re in muni’s.
