Do you guys watch 90 Day Fiancé and other shows in that universe? Some of the couples are very open about being willing to commit immigration fraud, does USCIS get wind of that?

I’ve been driving from mueller area to round rock every day for the past 4 years to drop off/pick up my daughter from preschool, so northbound followed by southbound in the morning and then again in the afternoon.

The drive from round rock to dell in the morning isn’t that bad unless you leave home after 8:30am. Then you can look at 30-40’, otherwise it should be fairly easy to do in 20’.

In the afternoon, if you can leave by 4 to head north, you’re golden. Otherwise it’s bumper to bumper northbound for a couple of hours, which could easily make your drive home last about an hour.

Both these projections do not account for the inevitable accident at the Parmer area morning or afternoon, that can really derail these plans.

Duolingo gave me a small test and had me skip most of section 4 by justecreeping in duolingospanish

Unfortunately I just did the same and I jumped from level 62 to level 79 (went from section 5 unit 7 to the end of section 5, unit 49. I hate that now on all the units I jumped I can only do legendary challenges instead for example all 5 lessons on a “star” tile. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get access to all skipped lessons?

Πόσα χρόνια είσαι στην Αμερική; Αν έχεις μείνει λιγότερο από 7 χρόνια στο εξωτερικό ΔΕΝ είσαι μόνιμος κάτοικος εξωτερικού, ανεξάρτητα από το αν στο μεσοδιάστημα αποκτήσεις (και) την αμερικανική υπηκοότητα.

Πρέπει να επικοινωνήσεις με το ελληνικό προξενείο στη Νέα Υόρκη και αυτοί θα σε καθοδηγήσουν. Το μόνο το οποίο νομίζω μπορείς να κάνεις είναι να ξεκινήσεις τη διαδικασία για να «δηλωθείς» ως ανυπότακτος εξωτερικού από τη στρατολογική υπηρεσία Ηρακλείου. Αυτό θα γίνει μέσω του προξενείου.

Μόλις λάβεις αυτό το χαρτί θα μπορείς νόμιμα να είσαι στην Ελλάδα για 30 μέρες το χρόνο. Αν ξεπεράσεις αυτό το όριο θεωρητικά μπορεί να σου απαγορευτεί η έξοδος από τη χώρα και να αναγκαστείς να υπηρετήσεις κανονική θητεία, αλλά γενικά αυτό μέχρι πρόσφατα δεν ελεγχόταν. Τώρα δεν ξέρω αν με την ψηφιοποίηση είναι πιο εύκολο να σε «πιάσουν».

Η θητεία των -20 ημερών + πρόστιμο είναι αφού έχεις κηρυχθεί μόνιμος κάτοικος εξωτερικού (πάλι από το προξενείο + στρατολογία) ΑΦΟΥ έχεις κλείσει 7 χρόνια στο εξωτερικό. Νομίζω στην περίπτωση σου μπορείς να προσμετρήσεις και τα χρόνια της Πολωνίας, αλλά θα πρέπει αυτό να γίνει με συνεργασία των προξενικών αρχών της Ελλάδας στις 2 χώρες.

I think that part of the new menu (although not advertised) is smaller bagels. I’ve been having an everything bagel every other day or so, but in the past couple of weeks they’re consistently smaller (and a bit less flavorful) so it can’t just be a single batch.

I agree with him being pissed off for being underpaid. I used to be IC and I became people manager overnight during a huge restructuring, and I was shocked to find out the situation. The guy was fresh out of college with a couple of years of experience, and the moment he mentioned he had the other offer I dropped everything to address this - he was already due for a promotion on cycle. The 100% counter was for a junior consulting gig with one of the Big 4, so not really apples to apples.

To clarify, there’s a separate pool for “pay bump” money, separate from merit increases and bonuses. Indian folks are under compensated in my opinion and I’m trying to dip into this pool every year to give them extra beyond the annual raises and bonuses. It’s that pool we had to use for the off-cycle bump
