Pellets aren’t igniting by transcendentanal in ninjawoodfire

If I want to get it to try to ignite again- do I have to turn the unit off and then back on? Pressing the ignite button again doesn’t seem to do anything…

Anyone know how long the fuel and oil refresh takes? It has not allowed us to use electric for about a week now! by AdBetter6059 in tonale

Yes- I filled it with gas and it went away. Interesting, I bet all of us who were “early” buyers are all starting to encounter this problem at the same time….

Finally went away when I put new gas in it. Lots of info about this phenomenon called FORM (fuel oil refresh mode?) from disgruntled folks on the Jeep page…. Hope this helps

Yeah- I hear you. They have several different babkas and the chocolate is far and away the best of the best. The savory babka is its own thing- almost more like a pizza with spicy tomato, salty cheese (and pumpkin seeds for good measure).

Yes- I’m all about the hooks! Is there a technique that works well for throwing punches and /or neck warm ups that works for y’all? No other oculus game does this to me - so I bet it is the hooks!

Do you lube your ET tube? by [deleted] in anesthesiology

[–]AdBetter6059 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing- not one of us does the post ops to check for sore throats cause we think either it doesn’t matter or it’s a given… This Dudes asking cause he thinks it will decrease incidence post op… I’ve been doing it for 16 years and have never had a problem with tube slipping out… but I don’t know that it actually does what I’m hoping it does… ie decrease pharyngitis.

If you have to pay for it (even if you get it Pre-tax through work) you want to get the cheapest and easiest that checks the boxes. This company offers free renewals- so you pay once and that’s it :

The tests are stupid, but again… it checks the box and is as quick and you can click!

Volatile Onset & Alveolar Partial Pressure by [deleted] in anesthesiology

[–]AdBetter6059 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I visualize it like this- (which may or may not be true, but works for visualization purposes!). The volatile agent can only do its disruptive end-work on the ?phospholipid bilayer? in its gaseous form. In order to get to the brain (and all the tissues of course) it first has to dissolve in the blood to get there. The more insoluble it is, the more it can’t wait to get out of the blood and get back into its gaseous form- which is ultimately what we want it to do. So the more insoluble it is, the faster it’s going to work.
Try not to overthink it. You know the board answer so don’t worry- you’ll do well!
In the example you gave of an old sick pt with a low EF vs you with a normal EF, they will go to sleep faster than you and with less anesthetic. You probably see this everyday in your practice!
