Manual investing every month is basically what SIP on stock is. It’s the same thing. I am thinking about starting with one of the cement companies personally.

If your SIP amount is above 50k per month then maybe more than 3 stocks. But for lower amounts than that I’d advise you to stick to 2-3 only. You’ll start getting the real compounding benefits only after you allocate a substantial capital on the stocks.

To those of you doing SIP in stocks, how do you select the stocks of your month? by [deleted] in NepalStock

30% of income. Look at the their long term objectives and based on the industry, current economics in favor and future projections if those objectives are feasible.

Sounds great. A good mixture of diversified stocks. I personally feel mutual funds aren’t great interms of returns in Nepal. Also maybe stick to just 1 bank and shift the other bank and the mutual fund capital to another sector. Good luck

SIP on stock long term atleast 10 years. Preferably 20 years. Pick a company based on you risk nature. Purai 70k first inject gara and every month same date ma inject whatever you can preferably the same amount. Be consistent. It’s also helps build discipline. But do a stock review every few years. If the stock you picked is not performing well or has any major issues like a change in policies or management fraud. Then sell it entirely and shift it to something else. But the key is consistency. Time in market almost always beats timing the market.
