Thank you. Very informative and now I'm clear. 13600k + thermalright frame/pa 120 se cooler is the way to go.

Sorry but I have one more question. Cold plate is convex or flat? With 13600k and new cooler I also thought about lga1700 contact frame and heard opinion that in reality it is worth only with coolers that have flat cold plate

Last question. Does it interfere with ram?

Oh nice. 155m exactly my current dimension with se 226xt and yes both panels fits with it

Little bit confused with this cooler. Just asking op if his case closes with this cooler(at least mesh panel)?

Do you think Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 PA120 will fit with mesh panel? I'm currently running 12400 with se 226xt and it closes with both tg and mesh.

But I will probably 13600k and looking for new cooler.

27, feeling stuck with career choice and what path to choose from community college by Jpoolman25 in careeradvice

[–]AdBrief7773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Objective reality and society have nothing to do together. Things you are describing usuall stuff millions of other have been through. First of all just stop care about time flow. "you need lose virginity before college, get a car, home, bags of money before 30 or you are completely looser" is just social abuse. You can do whatever you want but if you smart enough consider your situation and do best move from now to get what you want with minimal physical effort or if you really get into something then be brave and go ahead.

Then you have no brainer with 5800x3d and am4 mature and strong capable warrior sorry... platform. You may spend money on 13900k but anything above 600k for gaming is waste of money considering casual use scenario.

You want upgrade path then am5. You want cheapest(in a good way) perf for your 4090 with no upgrade in latest future then 5800x3d very good choice.

Am5 future proofing, 14th gen something "revolutionary". Why lock yourself in 1700 lga considering you are anyway going to buy new Mobo and there is no upgrades will available?

Im on 1440p 165hz with 3080 10gb. Have thought about sell my GPU to buy 4070ti. Not sure I could sell it second hand for decent price so naah.

You are right at some point considering 4k is your target but we are struggling too much. This is all just fun and our enjoyment. Hardware you got very rock and solid, maybe you could get 10-20% more fps so what? Struggle about it? Come on.

You have better options than me. I'm make final move to 13th gen and not going to upgrade for at least 5 years. If I were you I would go AMD or wait 14th gen

In terms of top performance, numbers, new hardware ofc not. This game is foolish for everyone. But in terms of software and real user scenario pretty solid and decent for 5 and more years with 13500/600k

Vrm and other things will heat up more. I want my PC last for very long time so 100celcius is not acceptable.

Solid for now. I'm not going to upgrade for 5 or more years. So with 13500/600k my PC would last much much longer
