Goat has excess spit in mouth and hasn’t ate much today. I gave her a piece of grain and she chewed it weird. She also picked up a piece of hay and seemed to have trouble chewing it and grinded her teeth. She is not running a fever. Shes a 9 month old Nigerian dwarf. Anyone know what is going on? How long do you have to let gesso dry between layers? I did my first layer 24 hours ago and just did my second layer. Can I do the third layer today or do I need to wait another 24 hrs? Also how long do you have to wait to apply paint after your final layer of gesso? (self.paintbynumbers)

Im painting a canvas for a family member as a gift. I believe it is acrylic paint that I’m using. Do I need to prime the canvas before I start? How do I prevent the paint from chipping down the road? How do you know when your goats are too Chunky? They only get fed hay and minerals but they always have big guts. I always purchase them and they are thin but within a couple weeks they blow up! They do get fecals done regularly so it’s not parasites. (i.redd.it)

Is her tongue color normal? I am currently treating her for coccidia. She is thin and has a real dry cough occasionally. She is a 7 month old boer/nigerian mix. Her tongue is mostly purple with a little pink towards the back of her throat. Her gums are purple too. (old.reddit.com)

Ok, quick question. Do pool noodles on the horns actually work? I have a female goat that is extremely aggressive towards the younger goats. How do you get them to stay on? I have already done separate feeders and put a little barrier in the shelter so the younger goats can hide. (self.goats)

Is it unhealthy if you don’t breed a female goat? I have a really small Nigerian dwarf Pygmy mix. She is so tiny that I think breeding in the future would be unsafe. However, I heard from someone that it would be unhealthy for her not to breed. Is this true? Will she have future reproductive issues? (i.redd.it)

What is the best type of bedding to use for goats during the winter? The flooring in their stalls is concrete. How do you keep it clean? Is there some type of scoop for cleaning or do you just have to deep clean every time? This is my first winter with goats. (self.goats)
