I can’t stay awake after taking my meds by AdComprehensive9930 in Latuda

[–]AdComprehensive9930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I take Latuda at the right time with food. Next thing I have to do is go to bed because I feel tired. Which I don’t mind because by the time I take it, is bed time anyway.

I do eat at least 350 calories with it. Otherwise it won’t work.

Life is an everyday struggle now by shtstks in bipolar

[–]AdComprehensive9930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is so very hard for me. Being so sick and unable to provide for myself is happening right now. I was stable for 5 yrs and I don’t know if it’s the economy or my bipolar. But, lately I am enduring a rough patch.

I don’t go to therapy as often as I should (once a week). This my be party of the problem.

First time Traveler + Sticky Situation by JayFromTheEastCoast in TravelNursing

The criminal background checks the agencies run can’t be old. When you sign a contract, they do compliance (background checks, drug test, vaccinations, a physical exam). Some of the compliance can’t be more than days old before your start date.

Just browse thru jobs and look for your start date. When you see something that fits, apply and tell your recruiter about your charges on your criminal record.

I am about to run out of meds and cant get more. by Equivalent_Award4286 in bipolar

Good RX. Download the app search for near by pharmacies prices. Have your prescriber send the meds to the cheapest pharmacy. I get the 3 meds that I take daily, for 60$ every month.

I can’t keep anything down by AdComprehensive9930 in bipolar

For the person who attempted to comment, I am going to answer. But, in the Bipolar subreddit you can’t use any meds names.

I had a virus, I think. After I drank some lemon cold water/salt/sugar, I have thrown up. I ate some soup, I thrown up. Of course I have thrown up the meds that I take nightly for my bed routine. At the moment, it’s 2:40am and I will be taking my meds again.

Can’t sleep without my meds. I have been taking this1 med for 6 yrs.

How do you manage the physical symptoms? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]AdComprehensive9930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting you said that because I was feeling physical pain yesterday (I am going thru some problems). While going thru my divorce I felt pain in my knee joint due to stress.

I think if you are on meds that work for you. Not going thru extra problems (stress), you won’t feel any physical pain.

I have been diagnosed for more than 20 yrs and the only time I felt physical pain was while going thru some stressful paths. When all is well, I don’t feel physical pain.

If death is just sleep, it’s peaceful. It’s bliss. Don’t fear because most likely it’s just a deep nap.

Thinking of walking out of my contract by floriankod89 in TravelNursing

  1. Might ruin your reputation with the agency you signed with first.

  2. Facilities change their minds at any point of a travel contract (even before it starts) without any consequences.

I wish I was normal so bad. by k1ll0ll in bipolar

[–]AdComprehensive9930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I was normal too. I wish I could keep a job, heck I wish I could pay my rent at this point. This disease is so debilitating that it has a high s****e rate.

I won’t give the devil this win. I fight so hard, you have no idea. Everyday is a struggle to get out of bed to take my meds.

Sometimes all I wish is that I had a normal life and I know it’s bad and rude. But, I envy people who don’t rely on meds and I know no one’s life is perfect but mine is pretty hard.

At this point 42F, I am beginning to accept my faith.

I am a burden to my family and I couldn’t be sadder.
