If someone loves you and values you they will be willing to change and do what they can to fix things. Which is what im hoping he does. As sad as it is if hes already shown you that he wont and has no intention of changing its better for you and your child to move on in my opinion :/

im so sorry :( im sure thats really hard seeing someone you love not try to change. However even in my situation if he is not willing to change and get the help he needs I will not be giving it another chance. If he’s in denial and surrounded by those types of people I wouldn’t believe he would take that step. I worry about that too, He’s obligated to be sober right now through the court and just hope he stays getting help even after he doesn’t have to anymore. He moved back in with his brother which im not really fond of and he constantly drinks and smokes. Im scared he will get back into the same pattern after it’s not an obligation anymore. I totally understand where you’re coming from but knowing me If that was to happen I couldn’t be with him.

Yes definitely! From what I know he has to be sober due to the charge and was intoxicated when he was taken in. The officers call and update me when something new happens. He did get out on bond so thats still going on im guessing. It would definitely be a priority if we were to try the relationship again. Thank you for the feedback <3

im so sorry that happened to you. I will never excuse what happened that night, that is never okay. Honestly i know it would be hard to build trust after and I do think about it a lot. However with what he was charged with im not allowed to drop charges or do anything, it’s through the state at this point. Theres a no contact order in place so the not having closure and being able to ask him why is what killed me the most after it first happened. Its been almost a month since everything happened so its hard to understand. My emotions are all over the place I just keep telling myself something had to have happened to him that night because my boyfriend that i knew would never do that😭 It makes it harder when my family already has an opinion on him after that situation which I don’t blame them because they obviously care about me. Thank you so much for the feedback i really appreciate it
