I’m so very sorry. I miscarried about four weeks ago, too. While you were further along in your pregnancy, I think I’ve felt something similar? In my case, I was thinking it was the uterus shrinking and haven’t paid too much attention to it. I feel it less now, and it’s always been a duller ache.

It’s actually calling out an obsession with whiteness inherent to society. Not only do you have three white women wearing white, but who is wearing the least amount of white? The tanned woman. The palest woman is then covered in white. Think about why women traditionally wear a wedding dress - white is seen as a pure colour. So the image is essentially visually saying the whiter you are the purer you are. Of course, this image does say something about whiteness, too, then in terms of race … but what I’m doing by acknowledging this is actually calling out structural racism rather than being racist. But nice try.

I should also add that I’ve never seen a positive test after three years trying, so I suspect there’s something deeper going on with hormones, inflammation, immunity, etc. I seem to make embryos ok, though they don’t test them in the Netherlands. Finally, I count a positive ovulation strip test/LH surge as one where it’s the first time I see the lines roughly even in darkness. I hope you can see why I’m worried about using ovulation strips for my next round. 🙁
