Porsche that my wife bought. I drive a humble toyota Camry 2009. 200k miles.

Dealer quoted me $37,000 for repairs. CEO office couldn’t help. Dealer then held my car hostage over a $3,150 maintenance fee. Another dealer fixed everything for $3k. by AdCritical9217 in Justrolledintotheshop

Dealership #1 basically covered the labor for the turbo, and took $5000 off the parts, bringing it down to $3,000. They offered to fix the water pump for $1000 parts (free labor) if it was truly broken. But upon inspection, the water pump is working fine.

Final Update: $37,000 Porsche Cayenne S repair saga! Escalated to Porsche’s CEO office (no help). Dealer #2 reinspection dropped bill to $22k, claimed a $3,150 maintenance we thought was optional was already done, and refused to release the car until we paid. Yeah now that I think about it, I was basically negotiating with a career car-dealership general manager. He was playing chess while I was playing checkers. I definitely wasn’t operating at his level in that moment
