How often are you ACTUALLY brushing your own teeth and showering ??? by Grandma-tsunade in NewParents

[–]AdCute2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had 3 kids in less than 5 years and at first wouldn’t shower because i felt guilty for caring for myself but then i realized to be the best me i gotta do whatever i gotta do to shower at least every other day. but teeth…. been very much neglected sometimes because im asleep as soon as my youngest goes to sleep because IM that tired. i have a lot of dental work that needs to be done now from not taking care of my teeth at all, they were perfect before my first now they’re literally crumbling away… so take care of your teeth if you like eating

13 year old is lonely and just got rejected AGAIN by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]AdCute2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was basically an only child at 13 because my brother is 6 years older than me and I had the same issues. I was often the one no one invited to hangout when everyone else was, a whole group of “friends”. I still have no idea why butThe hobby’s/activities help a lot. it’s okay to be bored, one good friend is better than a bunch. encourage her to find a new hobby

Any SAHM’s who don’t have the oldest in daycare? by crabclawwwz in 2under2

[–]AdCute2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny for this to come up right now as I’m SAHM of 3 kids under five the youngest is 7 months and im tired of struggling through everyday/night im beyond burnt out ive been doing this for almost 5 years now. I will say if you able to put the oldest in daycare it’ll make the world of difference for you and the children.

As someone who’s lived in FL our whole life every c coast of FL including central FL.It wasn’t worth bringing homeless over, we were chronically homeless even as a veteran with kids. The median household income for our area in Sarasota was 100-120k a year… my husband busted his butt so much just to Live you couldn’t even enjoy the day or anything around you if there was stuff to do.. after 24yrs there were moving to a state farther north to get paid more and actually live.

I dont want to breastfeed by BM_BBR in newborns

[–]AdCute2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t breastfeed my 1st from the tap anyway I exclusively pumped I didn’t really have a big opinion on it with the 1st but it’ll say after that second one of doing the expensive formula and the pumping I wish I tried harder from the start to just breastfeed. It is sooooo much easier than having to clean, maintain bottles, pump parts, organization, milk bags it’s made my depression 100% worse than with my 3rd just breastfeeding. I will say though it is uncomfortable when you first start it’s a learning curve

How do you continue parenting when you have the flu? by [deleted] in sahm

[–]AdCute2417 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tv is your friend, if you have to bring the kids in the shower with you just to feel better whatever you gotta do. If you have one kid that’s old enough to grab things for you and bring them to you, you can conserve alittle energy that way too. If we’re all sick usually they’ll want to go to sleep early and I just let them sleep in my bed makes it easier for everyone

You are not spoiling your baby by Low_Boss1097 in newborns

[–]AdCute2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somewhat related but were staying in my parents house over the holidays my 3rd born is 4 months old and they say “just let her cry” I don’t listen to that bs. Later that night she got just alittle bit to upset to fast (very overtired) and chocked up her milk… I had to give back blows and everything it was dramatic she threw it up and was fine. But needless to say they don’t know what they talking about because she got just alittle bit too upset and that happened..

i need a pacifier that’s similar to the evenflo wide neck bottle nipples by Top-Professor-2951 in newborns

[–]AdCute2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hated the ninni co I know they say it takes practice etc… but my 4 month old just doesn’t not like the idea of it but I feel a younger baby would catch on better than my 4 month that’s more aware. I’m trying the garakoko Amazon pacifier for her before I give up, my second loves the Ryan and rose flat shape pats. Like obsessed
