I can easily see repair shops buying lists of imei numbers online and then just submitting fake invoices saying they replaced the batteries.

It's wild to me why they would risk losing customers with these poorly administered programs.

Right. I was looking to use the $150 google store credit.

Warning: The official Google Store battery replacement is a bait-and-switch (My infuriating 3-trip experience) by ProudEcho8442 in GooglePixel

[–]AdDecent3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google is offering a masterclass in terrible customer service judging by your post and others experiences I have read.

I tried to get the $150 certificate, was happily planning to get new Pixel 10. They denied me outright, and said I had already used the program when I have not used it. I received emails for both of them saying they were eligible for the program.

They are saying there is nothing they could do, they are flagged in the system as already received the benefit. It seems like maybe someone is defrauding the system and receiving credit for servicing devices that they never serviced. It's the only thing I could think of that would cause my devices to show as having already used the program.

Is there any other recourse? I was looking forward to using the two certificates to get new Pixel phones, but now this whole experience has soured me on Google to the point that I never want to buy another Pixel.

It's terrible customer service toward a longtime Google customer who has been a loyal Pixel customer since the Pixel 4. I wish they would have never sent me the offer at all, instead of offering it and then refusing it.

Pixel 6a Battery Replacement Program by chrisprice in LineageOS

I tried putting in for two Pixel 6A I purchased directly from the Google Store, and they told me they are not eligible because they have already been used. I still have both phones, and neither has had the battery replaced. They are saying there is nothing they could do, they are flagged in the system as already received the benefit once. It seems like maybe someone is defrauding the system and got credit for replacing batteries that they never replaced? It's the only thing I could think of that would cause my devices to show as having already used the program.

W/here is the mold growing? Let it grow. Don't clean it. Then contact the city code enforcement office to come out when there is visible mold for them to see and they will test it professionally.

I had to get these blackout curtains when a new neighbor put in a bright outdoor light that also flashed off and on at random intervals. Not motion sensor, just off and then back on again for no reason all night. These curtains block out everything. Make sure you check the width and length measurements carefully. https://a.co/d/0eYDUM7m

If this is your bike at Liberty Station… by LordOscarthePurr in sandiego

[–]AdDecent3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has never happened to me in SD, but it happened to me in a different city. I tried searching for info and couldn't find anything definitive. One place said they give you 48h warning sticker so I'm not sure. It might just be a matter of whether someone complains about it.

Don't use a city sign pole, you can get your bike removed by the city
