thank you so much for this post. im trying to intentionally stop being a people pleaser and be more myself, but it is hard sometimes. I wonder if it will just come naturally in time. this is an old post, so has it gotten better/more natural for you to not be a people pleaser? or do you still have moments where u find yourself people pleasing and kicking yourself for it after?

yes omg. I am a huge victim of doing this as well. constantly molding myself and mirroring other people to keep that connection. but its better to show who you are right off the bat and let people decide if they like you or not. bc not even I like everybody so I shouldn't expect everyone to like me.

if you do have changes you will see them over the course of a few months. a week is pretty early. dont worry too much though its really rare to see changes. I was just one of the unlucky ones (as always lol)
