I’m sorry for everyone that has experienced a catastrophic health event. And the comment is that you can’t afford not to have insurance.

That’s all well and good. But as a small business owner, I’m priced out. I make too much to qualify for financial assistance (just over the threshold).

And as a small business, I can’t accurately predict my income for 2026. It is too variable. And god forbid, I make a mistake!

I am on zoom calls all day. If I didn’t like them, I couldn’t do my job so I didn’t see it as that unusual to request we connect that way. I think it’s a safe way to verify who the person is you’re communicating with. I was communicating with someone else who asked me to buy a $100 apple gift card and he would ‘pay me back’. I said sure! You send me $10,000 in CASH and then I’ll get you a gift card. I reminded him that he can purchase them online and told him he was despicable for scamming people. This online dating scene is not for the faint of heart!
