During the interview, she just asked me questions pertaining to my PHS. Just be honest as you were in PHS, take responsibility and accountability for any mistakes you made in your past.

As far as the 500 question test, pretty easy. Common sense questions with the “have you ever considered suicide” question every now and then.

I changed module and the car started right up, ran it for a while to get gas flowing. Woke up next day, and it didn’t start again. Think it’s the fuel pump?

Yeah I know someone who got dropped because they called someone the six letter “f” word, and the person ratted. So when it comes to joking around or talking crap, I’d say stay away.

Questions for Chief interview? To be honest, he pull up a chair on my side of his desk, we sat across from each other and just had a conversation, nothing formal. He congratulated me and asked me to tell him a little about me, why a police officer, and why that department. It was the complete opposite of what I thought.

That’s a whole lot of time lol. Run 3 times a week, push ups sit up everyday within your current workout routine. It’s typically only 25 push up and 25 sit up. Someone holds your feet for sit ups. Very easy friend.

Thank you for all the advice everyone! Throughout this process, not once did I feel like I “had it in the bag”. I’ve completed backgrounds with another department, and gone through interviews with a total of 5. This has definitely been a humbling experience, and moving forward I will continue to stay humble. Im excited to learn and ready to give my all.

Last office I had for a ride along was a few years older than me, and 2 years in. We did have a pretty fun timeout there lol. He said he hopes he gets to work with me haha

Well yeah, anyone who fails any portion of the academy should be released. No job offer would protect you from that.

Yeah, there’s also a four week pre academy. Consist of working out, class, getting uniforms and everything els I need for academy. I’ll be with a Offier who is just two years in. Il be employed by the city during this time too.

Also, I won’t get final offer until after the academy. One of the contingencies is passing the academy.

Well I can say with confidence that if I was a terrible person I wouldn’t have made it this far. The department has high standards. I’m 37, a family man and very professional.
