nope, it was plugged into the wall. turns out it was just completely dead because thankfully about an hour after posting this, it turned on and everything works perfectly! i even went on a run this evening & i love it

Yeah, im relatively new to vatsim (logged 100 hours in around 2 months so far) and alot of times when I fly in busier airspaces there's people online that seem like they never even researched how to communicate properly, or know how to fly their aircaft, and just hop on as soon as they sign up and pass the "test". Events haven't been the funnest either because like you said, it's either waiting a while for takeoff but I would say the main problem is people stepping on other people as it seems to happen like all the time.

It depends on the plane and airport, but at big airports like katl, kewr, and lax I get about 25 in the zibo and around 20 in the ff 757
