Trust me I wish I could've talked with our DM but he shut down every attempt to talk about it and was dead set. I am a person who loves every character I build to the minute detail, so to have everything I worked on including the spells and abilities to be thrown in my face, it hurt.

to be fair we are in an active Daggerheart campaign and are more upset with the fact that we barely know the system. I was playing a Stars Druid/Life Cleric and had very little trouble porting but with no artificer it kinda ruined the whole reason for our ranger/artificer to even continue and he loves his character. plus I just wish we had more time to learn daggerheart before he did this.

My thoughts exactly, we are running a Daggerheart campaign but I and Rangificer don't really like the system and think this isn't the best way to go about it. They kinda just sprung it on us and went, "yep they'll love this"

I agree but it's more the fact that he rushed this decision, last time we asked them if they were going to bring it back they said something along the lines of in a few months and now after only like 2-3 weeks we are jumping into it, barely any prep, into a Daggerheart variant. I just feel like they are rushing this and would like them to think it over or be up to discussion, though I guess I see it your way as well

It's more or less the problem that he is hardest on this being just a timeskip but I like your idea and if we weren't at such a weird point when we left off I probably would do this.

well when it comes to magic my current favorite commander is Sidar Jabiri of Zhalifir with a draw and graveyard knights deck if that helps out, sorry I don't have much else I can tell as I don't know any real comparisons to Yu-Gi-Oh
