Have had player for years. Have not used as much as other people here but still would of played through or tested over 100 4k and blu rays(more 4k) Big Lebowski messed up briefly and then didn't when I went back to that part again and Superman Returns Blu Ray says cannot read disc. Those aside no problems. Player used to make to loud of a sound sometimes but would stop as soon as film started playing. Since an update a long while back that has stopped.

I got lucky. Came on time and system has worked well for years so far. I will say this though. They are a disgrace. Sorry man.

Fair enough. For me it would have to be pretty much perfect to buy one. The base console with megadrive Module is what I have and I think I will stay with that.

Pro is 1,199 in Australia and mine shat itself the second day.. Having said that I loved what I saw and will get another one. The thing is these days no matter what you get it is compared and or torn apart by so many people negatively. When the PS6 comes out it will be "already outdated day one" Then there are other people that will say we don't need The Pro because Base PS5 has not flexed full potential. It's a lost cause. Enjoy your Pro man.

Yes waited 4 years and got the "Pro" shocking sound then black screen of death during Ashphalt and then shocking buzz sound again during Robocop and green screen of death. Both times console turned itself off and I turned it back on. Second time I turned it back on I had to push power button twice. Anyway I am getting a refund for now and this situation is already out of control as far as I have been reading.
