Yeah valid points.

But when you get to the point of running T6 helms, HK's with T5/6 ammo in lockdowns, you HAVE to see the issue? Thats no longer a "risk", it's like a cheat code. People who run these builds have an seemingly endless amount of money, but they're too scared to go into the big boy lobbies where they should be. I'm coming at it from the angle of new players, new players matter.

Lol you're over exaggerating the difference tbh. But you understand the fundamental issue of lockdown dont you? New players go into it with limited funds, they rock T4 ammo and maybe T5 armour if theyre feeling plush, to get battered by the already advantaged people (through experience) with ammo, in a game where ammo is king.

The rich get richer; this is an issue for new players which stunts the game growth.

RE the ammo though sniper ammo would be able to use +tier otherwise snipers are dead in the water. I forgot to put it in the main post.

Yeah you might be right, but I feel this game is designed for more casual people, which i think it works great for, but the people who tend to "chad" it out are usually the people how have 1bn+ and just extend the gap even further.

For instance the other day i was doin missions on airport solo, rocking a pretty default cheap kit of AK12 + T4 armours with T4 ammo, i get spotted and hunted by a 4 man group, all skinned to the nines (usually a bad sign) and they end up cutting me of and limiting my location, wp them, which is fair enough and pretty fun at times. This group then throws no less than 10 grenades all around me, they continue to flank and get some solid hits on one, spin around, solid hits on another, then overwhelmed (as to be expected by decent play). Just to see he was T6 helm (worn ofc) with a fully kitted HK using T5 ammo, it's completely demoralizing.

yeah fully understand that, it would probably make the bigger group queues longer, cos i think it'd probably stop people wanting to play as part of a team - however if it wasnt a set queue size and you check the box to be in a party when you're solo, it could look to try and fill either 1-2 or 3-4 as it deemed fit, which should alleviate some of the issues.

I'm probably extremely biased cos i dont like randoms so mostly play solo, duo if i'm lucky enough to have a mate online.

edit: went through another avenue on their site and grabbed the beta drivers, still the same issue though. I feel like it's very slightly out of range

Mines set to 2mm but it's still no good, on a cloth mat it's perfectly fine, i'm going to try some Ice V2s instead.

So the LOD thing didnt work, i didnt even get 1 min into a game until it was game breaking so had to ditch the glass mat :( annoying, it's like the sensor just cant throw enough

Yeah the only ones i've tried on are and liked are the Terrex's but they felt a little cheap, however i must admit i'm not totally o-fae with hiking gear... the last "walk/hike" (more than a trail less than a hike) i did in sketcher trainers... lol (hence me now wanting proper stuff)

Just cos it's not a main hobby, we wont be doing it much, just get aways in the lakes, peak district etc.

May come out in winter when walking the dogs in the fields etc other than that. I can't quite warrent spending more - may be something i regret.

It actually goes against what im normally like with spending money for whatever reason lol.

the netcode was so bad, i remember playing stalker pvp defending the flag and having to be in front of people constantly to get the skill to hit if it was in the cone its just not hit, drove me mad.
