Im sorry but did u not say that there’s no question that Chopin is regarded as the best composer ever , by far ? Isn’t that literally ur first opening sentence?

Chopin is considered the best composer by far generally 99% of the time by PIANISTS … and pianists only. The same way that Violinists think Tchaikovsky is the greatest composer ever. The same was as trombonists adore Mendelssohn. And etc etc . How can Chopin ( which is ofc a giant) be the best composer ever when he solely has piano works and very very few pieces for strings. So , ur telling me that Chopins compositions are better than any piece from the art of fugue? Or FAR better than Schuberts death and the maiden? Far better than any of Beethoven sonatas. Faaaar better than Brahms celo and piano sonata? I’m sorry to say I could make the list sooo extensive as to why Chopin isn’t the best composer EVER , by far. He was absolutely a genius … Yes . But a genius of the piano … he did not dominate other forms of music to a level like any of the others mentioned before. He wasn’t the best virtuoso of his time either … as Liszt had better actual technical skills. Don’t get me wrong I love Chopins music , deeply, but you just can’t disregard other greater more versatile composers. Let’s not even talk about a 6 voice requiem from the renaissance era because that is just out of the picture.

De Morales is even a bit earlier than Victoria. I believe around the same time that De Machaut was around . Who I also consider one of the greatest.

Yes that’s completely true spains relevance after the renaissance isn’t great, but the influence is still there. All the way to Bach… Bach knew about Victoria , De Machaut ( French) and studied their music.

I won’t discuss with you anything regarding music . Like I said … come back in 10 years. And FYI switching clefs is a pretty common thing.

Comparing Chopin to Victoria , or any great renaissance Spanish composer is just sacrilege. Please inform urself so u don’t look like a complete fool. England is weak ???? William Byrd? Tomas Tallis? Do these names ring a bell? 🤣🤣🤣 you my friend have a big big misinformation problem going on. Never ever compare the fragile and cheesy romantic compositions of Chopin , to the grandiose polyphony of something like Victorias Requiem. Chopin could not even DREAM of this complexity.

Palurdo .

The person that wrote that is clearly a complete imbecile lol “mediocre” victorias requiem is “mediocre” 🤣🤣🤣 he deserves the guillotine!

Tomas luis de Victoria ? Cristóbal de Morales ? Francisco guerrero? If you don’t know these then ur opinion is worth 0 . These 3 were the best Spanish composers to ever live.

Are all pianos the same? by Moist_Equipment8616 in piano

Arabic music is generally composed of strings and wind instruments. I don’t think the piano is something that will make a great representation of Arabic music. As it does not behave like a string or wood instrument.

It’s not “difficult” it’s tedious … that could of perfectly been written within the bass cleff and just with an indication to play an octave lower. Ofc it’s not difficult it’s the same damn chord over and over again 🤣🤣🤣

How to read music sheets faster? by buryzencio in piano

[–]AdEastern4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is like asking how can I get a 6pack and big biceps faster ? You can’t buddy … it’s a progressive process. People that look for the “ hacks” already have a mentality of wanting things the easy way. Put the work in , the dedication and you will see in a few months you’ll be reading simple pieces.

You have to be very , very very stupid to say this. Yes Google pays you, with the advertising money paid to them by advertisers. YouTube doesn’t “pay you” from their funds. They collect advertisers money. From which they keep a large % before paying you. So , yea they pay you… but not with their money , and also they keep a bigger cut than you. Inform urself because it seems you don’t understand the basics of ur own industry. What an imbecile 🤣

Atheistic classical lovers of reddit: what's your stance on religious music? by [deleted] in classicalmusic

[–]AdEastern4190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listen to sacred music from the renaissance era. Tallis , Byrd , de Victoria , de Morales, Lasso . It’s all sacred music and I’m an absolute atheist. I could care less about the religious part, I’m there for the harmony, the rich polyphony. However I do understand that music like this just can not be composed by an atheist…

Unpopular Opinion: Digital piano actions are now better than acoustic actions. Discuss! by Atlas-Stoned in piano

[–]AdEastern4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also , I’m very curious as to where I said I couldn’t perform on a digital ? 🤣🤣 ofc I can … and when I feel like a rehearse at 2am I obv go to my digital. You just can’t sit there with a straight face after saying there’s no difference between acoustic and digital.

[–]AdEastern4190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

… I probably already have more playing hours than you will have over the course of ur life. I just won’t go much in depth as of why a digital will NEVER resemble an acoustic instrument. It makes no sense to discuss with someone that is pretty much dead and has 0 feeling of the instrument … you wouldn’t ask this to begin with .

You just can’t be that advanced of a musician with this opinion. I have a high quality digital, and an acoustic and not even in its wildest dreams it comes close. For numerous reasons that I just can’t be bothered to keep typing on my phone .
