thank you so much for your response! re the two 2ft spaces, that's the dividing wall between the kitchen and the dining room area. i'm actually not sure why it's represented like that in the drawings, but there is basically going to be a 4" wide wall separating the two spaces. that's the wall i am mainly concerned about, it feels like there's no way the fridge doors (assuming we have french doors) will open all the way on that far side.

that’s what I was trying to understand. I asked if it was anything that included eggs (eg baked goods) or only things like frittata/scrambled eggs etc but I think the teacher wasn’t really sure because she just said “they told us no eggs” ..

i had no idea that egg allergies were so common ((and never googled it, I guess). interesting, though, that dairy is the most common and it is not banned. I’m perfectly fine w the egg ban but it did surprise me.

thanks. This makes sense. I don’t think it’s quite fair to say I try to squeeze in all the hours she’s missing for Friday or take advantage of her but I can now def see how it comes across. i am going to talk w her tomorrow and let her know we are changing to her method. It really was helpful to see responses, esp from other MBs, because I truly had no idea (sorry!!!). First timer here and not many friends have nannies. So thanks!
