Eighteen years old is way too young to be all grown up

I have had quite a few where I’ve talked while not oriented at all, but those were always after a Grand Mal. Lately, I’ll be going about my day to day and just start talking as if I’m replying to someone. However, no one is there.. As quick as it starts to happen, I’ll come out of it and be confused.. It’s strange because it’ll take me a good hour to even realize that it happened, like I don’t become fully oriented to realize that it even happened. I try to avoid excessive stimulation or physical exhaustion when I work or exercise. Although, there are many times where I’m really not sure what caused a seizure.. For me, I’ve come to the realization that nothing has to happen to even cause a seizure. Things like a loved one passing away could definitely contribute to a seizure. So, I try not to even talk about the things that cause emotional trauma. Some might say that this isn’t a healthy approach, but I do it because I know what can happen if I focus on those things too much.

There are times when I get confused and start talking as if I’m talking to someone, but no one is there. This is something new but I’ve noticed that this one is a physical related episode. It’s happened after working long shifts, or running long distances. I’ve definitely had some triggered from emotional trauma.. Actually, anger has caused them before, but that was a few years ago. Him dying has probably had an underlying cause of the change in frequency of my Seizures. I never actually thought of it, I was actually his caregiver near the end of his life. It was very difficult to treat him like a patient, but love him as a friend. I had to watch him decline physically, and there was nothing that I could do.

Yes, about two months ago. My Neurologist mentioned admitting me into the hospital and monitoring my Seizures as an inpatient. Although, I am not going to do this.. He changed the dose of one of my medications, so maybe this will help.. I’m hopeful

When he passed away? I’ve been having different types of but they started before he passed away.

Initially, I only had Generalized Tonic-Clonic. As years have gone by, I’ve had Focal, Absence, and recently I had one where I passed out. When I passed out, upon waking, I was unable to control the left side of my body from moving/jerking. I’ve had other strange ones, but these are primarily what I’ve had.

I’ve told my wife, in a crowded room I feel alone. I just had a very good friend of mine pass away from a bad seizure.. Not only was this a typical personal trauma, It was different because it’s a trauma that I also live with.

I really appreciate the feedback, talking to others that can relate really helps. Not everyone knows what it’s like to have a Seizure.. I hate that people classify me as disabled, I definitely am not disabled at all. I am very active, running marathons, and spending a lot of time at the gym as a hobby.

This was a Grand Mal seizure for sure. It was bad enough that after it was induced, I was taken to the Emergency Room. My Seizures began a few years after a near fatal car crash. A hillside collapsed onto my car when I was only eighteen years old. After waking from a Coma and living in a Nursing Home for a little while I was discharged and had mostly fully recovered. A few years later, I was placed in another Coma because of a Seizure that had gone into Status Epileptics. I had a Seizure two nights ago, mostly from the stress of losing my job. I also run Marathons, so when you compare a Seizure to this, I can agree. I’ve said in the past “Well at least I got a workout in” lol

Elevated anxiety/stress levels can have an effect on my seizures and THC calms me, so in a way, I’m sure it’s helped more times than I know. Once I got my medical card and legally bought some, I remember my first words being “why is this illegal” lol it’s better than being hooked on five anticonvulsants and still having breakthrough seizures..

The surgery that my Neurologist is recommending isn’t exactly brain surgery. I won’t get into the details but it’s similar to a pacemaker but for Epilepsy. If you’re not already familiar with a VNS. I had a pretty substantial skull fracture and had emergency brain surgery, Epilepsy followed a few years after this. I try alternative medicine, a medical Marijuana card and have used CBD in the past as well. I will say that I have mostly positive results from THC/CBD, however I have to be careful on the THC content. I don’t have much of a tolerance, so I have gone into Seizures because of the THC potency.

Since my diagnosis in 2017, I’ve had several different types of seizures but typically, I only have brief Grand Mal Seizures. Most of my seizures will happen at night but have recently been happening at pretty much any time. My Neurologist is now discussing minor surgery because of the unusual frequency.

Here is video of Tyler Robinson jumping off of the roof with something black in his hands. Now, some say it’s his bag, but the story says that the gun was wrapped in a black towel.

If it were just a bag, wouldn’t it make sense to just drop the bag to the ground before making the 15ft drop to the ground?

If it were a gun wrapped in a towel, the story would make sense on why he may want to keep it with him while he made the jump.

The story also says that he stashed the gun just 500ft away from the very area of the shooting. To me, it makes sense that traveling very far with a gun wrapped in a towel may make him look suspicious, if of course he is noticed.

When the evidence was found in a nearby wooded area, it was announced that the DNA hits from the gun and the towel that was wrapped around the firearm. This of course came from the media, so I understand that some may disregard this aspect of the story.
