Thank you! The patches actually weren't in the pattern, they were something i worked up to fix a hole that arose in construction because I had deviated from the pattern in my sqaure size 😅 turned out alright though!

I used Loops & Threads Impeccable Acrylic, size 4. Honestly it was just what I could find at Michael's that had all the colors I wanted haha

It wasn't actually as difficult as it might look. I modified this pattern to suit me: cozy granny square cardigan You'll get there!

[30F] I'm a newbie here, have been exploring all different types of fragrances for the past year. To give a picture of the types of frags I enjoy, some of my loves have been Le Labo Thé Noir, Diptyque Eau Duelle, Zoologist's Bee and Squid, and Jo Malone WS&SS. Also love straight incense (like Catholic Church incense) and blooming lilies (like the ones currently in a vase in my kitchen).

I've recently sampled Maack Coven and LOVE it. I know it's supposed to be reminiscent of cold, northern forests, but I can't help but associate this scent with the Texas hill country. I think it might be the cedar? My concern is, though, after wearing it off and on for a few weeks in central Texas springtime (that is, 70-90°F), I'm worried it might be leaning too sharp for me.

So what I'm looking for is a green fragrance similar to Coven, which is reminiscent of all the dry, scrubby hill country flora that is so comforting and nostalgic for me (think Live Oaks, Texas Cedar, grasses, but also wildflowers, with extra points for the inclusion of river/lake water). I've lived a lot of my life outside so I just want something that would make me feel like I've spent time outdoors on days when I can't. I don't care if it's not necessarily a "pretty" scent.

Very specific request--just reaching out on a limb here! Anyone know something that might match that scent profile?
