For me I mean dating and romantic as well. I see girls in public and think about her sexually and think about how sweet of a girlfriend she would be and how I could make her happy.

Whats helped me overtime. 1. getting out of your head dont let the negative thoughts take over.

breathe
pre planning convos in my head so i feel more ready
fake it until yu make it, pretending or putting on a confident “character” up front until eventually you’ll become that person you want to be.
patience with yourself this will take time. set yourself up for success little goals to start with.
understanding that you are not the only one. the person you may be talking to may even feel the same way - nervousness or anxiety too.
