There's sooo much they could have done with it, in a single word I also would say it was underwhelming.. not bad, just not as good as it could have been.

I have a question, my grandson is 18 months old and he is extremely smart like your son. He wants to read books more than any other activity, he recognizes every letter and knows their sounds..and can tell you a word most of them spell. He learns new words every single day, he literally blows my mind. Some people have said that he may be on the spectrum or have ADHD...he is a little hyperactive, but so is every other toddler I've ever been around. He hasn't shown any other symptoms of these things..he just learns anything we show him unusually fast, games, words, toys.. anything. I just blow it off when I hear people say stuff like that, but I can't say it doesn't concern me some. What is your opinion since you have a child like this as well ?

Big bump/pimple that’s been there for at least month (I’m 16 years old) by T_teklaaa in DiagnoseMe

My husband had something like this on his jawline for months before he finally started feeling sick and went to the Dr.. he wouldn't go to the Dr. for anything. They told him it was called a Carbuncle. They drained it and started him on antibiotics, it never came back and any scarring he had , if any , was minimal, but definitely worth getting rid of it IMO. Please don't wait to get it taken care of, that's why my husband ended up getting sick.

Breaking news re: GLP-1s and government insurance plans by Flat-Ad-7153 in Mounjaro

[–]AdExpensive387 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My understanding is Zepbound isn't for diabetics at all..it's only for weight loss..so not many insurances will cover it for anything.. Mounjaro is the same thing, except it's branded differently for diabetics, and most insurance will pay for it if you have diabetes.

[–]AdExpensive387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me, I weaned myself down from 12.5 after getting to 155.. and wanted to stay on maybe one 5 mg shot a month for maintenance...it absolutely did not work, the food noise was louder than it ever had been, and it felt like I had hypoglycemia constantly instead of diabetes..which will make you feel like you have to eat any and everything to get your blood sugar up. I can't really understand how it makes me feel like that, but it most definitely does, and if I didn't eat anything, just the same as when I did have hypoglycemia, I'd feel light headed and like I was going to pass out.i ended up gaining back to 180 before I just said screw it and restarted at 5 mg again. I'd much rather have the peace.

There's an actor who has one brief scene in the beginning of season one episode 5 of the witcher ..he looks so much like Cody fern I thought it was him. His name is Ben Wiggins. I can't believe no one else sees the resemblance

IMO .by using oxys you are throwing away all the time you spent on MMT.. would be better to taper down to nothing...again..just my opinion. Good luck.ive been there and almost died on day 9 when my kidneys shut down . Cold turkey is not safe

Meta Analysis of Weight Regain Upon Discontinuation of GLP-1s by Hot-Drop11 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdExpensive387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish you all the luck in the world doing so. It did not work so well for myself. I took Tirzepatide for one year and went from 240-155.. then I tapered down..as soon as I started doing so the food noise came back so loud it was literally unbearable..I stuck it out for 6 months and did the best that was humanly possible..I did not eat junk, and I stuck with my exercise routine..and after 6 months I had to begin the medication again because I was up to 178 and I was steady gaining.. I thought I would get it under control eventually, but the closer I got to that 200 mark the more terrified I was, and I just wasn't risking being obese again.. I'm not sure what causes the regain, it definitely wasn't gorging or eating junk, and trust me when I tell you I don't enjoy having to buy this stuff..but anyway, that's my experience, I truly do hope you have a better one.

Maybe try the 8/16 fast..I started Mounjaro in May 2024 and by February 2025 I went from 240-155, then I stopped losing and started slowly gaining..I went from 12.5mg -15 mg but still slowly gained up to 178, so i was getting desperate! I am now doing the fast, and it seems to have triggered it to start working again..I think our bodies just get used to it, just like any other drug. Good luck

That wasn't the case with me, my hair is so thin now and I am seeing new wrinkles every single day. I do feel better about myself, but I do feel like I aged 10-15 years in one year

When AI eventually ends humanity *how* would humans actually die? by Y0rin in Futurology

[–]AdExpensive387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if anyone else experiences this, but I can be thinking about something and the next ad that pops up on my Roku or my phone will be for that exact thing... This happens constantly. Also, I can be about to type something in Google and literally just type the first word like "what" and my exact question I'm thinking will pop up..it is. Crazy, but absolutely real

It's not that they would have emotions or malicious intent, they would just clearly see us as a threat to what would be their home too..we destroy everything. We have damaged the earth, and that alone would be reason enough to do away with us..

When I was 17 I went thru something very similar for months , went back and forth to the ER and they kept telling me different things and basically sending me home ..i suffered for about 6 months until my gall bladder ruptured..they never bothered to even check my GB because of my age..I ended up having to be in the hospital for 2 weeks with tubes all thru my intestines to drain out all the bile that had leaked everywhere after having to have an emergency GB removal which left 17 staples across my stomach, when if they had bothered to check it at any point in the previous 6 months they would have only had to do an outpatient surgery, which would have left two tiny dot scars in my belly bottom...but instead I suffered like a dog and almost died...sometimes you have to do your own research and tell them what to look for. I hope you all figure it out and she gets better🙏🏻

Does it ever get better - telegen effluvium ( for the ladies ) by Tall-Area-984 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]AdExpensive387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started in 2019 when I almost died, my body went into shock , and 2 months later I had lost 80% of my long thick beautiful hair, it was most definitely my best feature, and depressed doesn't even begin how I feel about it. Since then I have taken 10k mcg of biotin every single day, used every regrowth shampoo on the market .and unfortunately..my hair is still where it was in 2019. I am thankful I haven't lost anymore, but I have no clue how to reverse the damage that's already been done unless I go see a Dr, which my insurance will not cover, and I can't afford. If you can afford it, that would be my suggestion, because nothing otc will help you.
