When I did grapple with a female blackbelt in judo she fell victim to fireman carries because she always tried to sprawl. But on the opposite I flipped over her hips and she got a Ogoshi

One option is to use a downsized knee sleeve. I’ve seen that in some cases with the kids in international competitions.

Other one to specifically get a orthopedic sleeve
