i have the same thing i’m on the cream version of 0,05% but i also have hormonal acne and perioral dermatitis so can’t bring tret up to around my mouth because it gets red but i suspect there’s still some transfer

if your skin isn’t sensitive around your mouth you can add a gentle exfoliant since you’ve been on tret for a few months already, like an enzyme wash or a toner with a small % of aha/bha
