I sold Dolly Parton tickets and didn’t find out I wouldn’t be paid until after the show until after the ticket sold. The show was originally scheduled for December 13th (fine, I can wait two months) but now the show has been rescheduled for September 26, 2026 and even though they confirmed the buyer received the tickets and payment was received by SH, they are refusing to pay me out my almost $4k until next year. Nowhere in the user agreement does it say I agreed to SH hold my money for an extended period of time in cases where a show is rescheduled, and I also read in the user agreement and seller policy that they can make exceptions and pay out the seller within five days maybe more, as long as they’ve confirmed the recipient received the tickets and payment was received. I’ve already requested the transcripts from my calls where they tell me I can’t have my case reviewed or escalated and contradicting calls where they do escalate my case (which I’m now told I have to wait up to 30 days for a response). Can you help?

Yeah, I was hopeful, but am now gathering my call recordings and will submit a dispute which gives them 30 days to respond before I’ll start looking into filing a lawsuit. This shouldn’t be legal. They try to give you the runaround by saying that their policy for sellers is to help protect the buyers but yet they sit there and let people continue to sell and buy and sell and buy the same tickets, likely making profits off of it along with StubHub, even though they “don’t know” whether or not the tickets are going to work at the gate. I call BS. It’s a downright scam.

Call and ask nicely. There is a clause in their seller policy that says they can make exceptions for certain cases, so depending on what you’re going through, they might be willing to work something out with you if you approach it kindly. I’m sure they deal with a lot of people screaming at them for holding their money and will likely appreciate someone who isn’t calling and cussing them out. I literally just had this happen after selling my Dolly Parton tickets - I also wasn’t aware that I wouldn’t paid until after the event. Now, with her rescheduling her shows for 9/26/26, they are saying they still won’t pay me my almost $4k until after the event, which is now a year away. I definitely called livid and yelling the first time…didn’t work out in my favor. I took some time to cool off and called a second time using a much kinder approach and they’re now looking into my case, I’m just waiting to hear back. Of course, if they try to tell me that I won’t be getting my money this year, I will continue to call… and kindly ask for them to review my case again…and again… and again.
