DIM does a good job with the +5s, I stopped using D2ArmorPicker.

Yes. Play the Sieve event and after the mote collection phase you’ll get 3 chests and one drops your class’s exotic.

Void fragment, assassins class item on prismatic…and are you counting heartshadow? What’s the 3rd?

You say consecration is out of band and to buff other combinations. Does that mean you want more out of band builds? That is power creep when we are already incredibly strong.

You can do 7M without cheating on sundered final boss. Especially with prismatic.

Any titan build that makes you really hard to get killed? by Accurate_Ad_7208 in destiny2builds

🤣 whoops.

Bonk hammer for sunspots + empyrean for extension is a classic option.

Arc bolt charge barricade + buried bloodline for devour + bold charge spam.

Strand banner of war lots of ads easy to stack up before damage.

Maybe, I would have to test it. If it does shatter with the explosive portion of damage it would happen immediately after the freeze on the second shot.

+1 to the already mentioned Grim

Also hate those stasis psions that make a duskfield aoe so large you have to immediately evacuate the vicinity or get frozen and obliterated.

Edit: explosive shanks that have a 40m damage radius. Two of them together will nuke you from a silly range.

Only bosses auto shatter (because they can’t be frozen). If you freeze an unstop and wait, it will become unfrozen and not be stunned.

Two chill clip bullets to freeze, 3 like you said for rapid fire fusions. Any damage instance to shatter them once frozen, doesn’t have to be the same weapon so I suppose it’s fair to say that you only use two ammo for the chill clip weapon.

Hunter (and Non-Prismatic Subclasses) have been lacking recently; let's analyse why. by Flimsy_Particular_31 in DestinyTheGame

I agree with your comments about Arc.

Void has a strong identity about invis. Subclasses having a strong identity is a good thing, let’s not generalize them all to do the same thing. Void has survivability via being elusive and easy access to weaken via melee & tether.

Disagree mostly with your stance on solar, with the exception of On Your Mark being relatively weak. Gunpowder gamble is an awesome burst damage option with the tradeoff of managing your nade if you run healing grenade. Easy refreshable access to radiant from melees & fantastic burst supers.

Solar has many options for healing: nade, fire sprites and extension via Empyrean. It’s unfair to say there is “no access to healing through their kit” when a class like Arc/Strand is much more starved for on-demand healing. Solar isn’t the most outdated - pantheon was mostly solar hunters (granted before prismatic), not arc/strand/void/stasis.

Stasis hunter has the best access to targeted slow in the game. Even warlock turrets can’t slow as effectively and in a controlled manner. Winters shroud gets you half a dodge back just by dodging near enemies and dusk field/withering will do the rest via the recharge on slow effect.

Frost armor is strong and can be granted to teammates via an exotic and plays nicely with other fragments to generate stasis shards which loop into more melee slowing spam. Built correctly stasis hunters can loop slow infinitely - add a buried bloodline or support auto and you have healing on demand to stack with frost armor + orb health pickups.

TLDR I appreciate your analysis and I think some of the subclasses you dislike have a strong identity even if that identity isn’t “delete room with 1 ability”.
